He still posts on twitter so you can follow it just as proof he's still doing shit
I don't have twitter/X, but I was used to follow him on Fantia. Now he seems posting just on , but still not much progress.

Phenir Hi, hello. I noticed that you're pretty knowledgeable on this game, and I have a few questions as someone who's gotten addict--I mean, into it recently.

1. Do I need a higher level pill than Super Pill in order to capture bosses? (Don't need specifics, just yes or no.)

2. Do I need to reset my save to get Mushmarias? I noticed earlier in the thread you said you needed to buy the thing to convert fairies from the big mushroom, but I already fought the Myconid, so I don't know if I'm boned or not. And if I don't need to reset my save, how do I get them now?

3. I think I remember accidentally triggering a secret room in the mansion below the charm shop just by entering the front door, but I don't remember how to trigger it. It was a room that seemed to have one Candlehead in it on the left side and a bunch of...books? Boxes? I don't remember exactly. Am I going insane? Was it not the front door of the mansion? Was there some criteria I accidentally triggered without realizing it?

I appreciate your help in advance, and I'm sorry to bother you at this time of day.

1. I think there's a very very small chance of getting them with the weaker tiers. It's not worth it to try in my opinion, just wait until the hyper pills.

2. You can get spores for free at the spot where the myconid was once you defeat her.

3. You're thinking of the storage building in front of the mansion.

...Huh. Those were simpler answers than I expected. Thanks a ton. :) Have a great rest of your day!

Okay, one last question. If possible, could you tell wherr to get the spores in more detail? After defeating the Myconid, I can't find the spot where I'm supposed to pick up the spores.

It's near the bottom right of the mushroom forest. Take the path leading up just past the heal hut.

Should just be a sparkle on the spot right there. Did you catch her? You probably need to, otherwise there wouldn't be any place to catch her later.

That's the part I was missing. I haven't gotten the 3rd tier pill yet, so I haven't caught her yet. This just means I'll have to wait until after I get the better pills until I fight the Mushmarias, which I'm fine with.

How does this capture mechanic work, is it entirely chance base? I know the game tells you that your chances are better when the hp is low but i've fought the same enemy 4 times and 2 of the times I used the heavy thrust (like 25 dmg) and then the quick thrust (something around 18 dmg) and its got the enemy to like 10% hp and wasnt able to capture despite using 4 pills. The other 2 times i fought the enemy i only used quick thrust 2 times and it brough them to about 20%-30% hp and only had to use 1 pill to capture im very confused. is there like some hidden mechanic? this was also done using the Mon pill ( first type of pill you get)
Haven't seen anyone else pointing this out. But my findings are that it's 100% sequential. If you don't have the correct order in which you capture a girl, it's not going to work, ever.

His post contradicts your findings.
