I actually like it better than LA. The humor is just pretty mild and definitely not the focus. The MC is now a magical detective (in training) and each update there is a mystery to solve, plus a couple of underlying mysteries running through it as well. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether it is harem or solo romance only. You need to collect points with girls to get their romance/lewd scenes, and there has been at least one part where you have to choose between girls, but not sure yet.

I don't actually mind Big O's little games. Just short kinetic stories, usually with Elves or other fantasy creatures. I haven't put them here yet, because they usually one have 1 or 2 LIs, so I just do one when I have 10 minutes to fill in. (I think there's about another 5 or 6, I haven't added yet).

Very, very simple. When you are investigating you have to collect the clues in a mini free roam, it tells you how many to find and they are all on one screen. No wandering, just click the phone, rubbish, gun etc. And you can even skip if you want.

Have to agree I like it better too, and tbh never actually managed to finish LA, this I might.
There are 2 little things that rub me the wrong way (so to speak).
They could have made the relationships screen a bit more obvious, maybe it's just me getting older and older, but oh man...
The other is a bit more general (as in not applying only to this VN), I'm starting to get tired of the same female "tropes", every female (unless it's a strictly maledom/humiliation/blackmail novel) has that dommy/femdom/tsundere/tomboyish undertone, even the ones that aren't actually meant to be that kind of character, every boss is one of them, every sidekick is one of them, most of the LIs are the same, or if that's not the case it's the MC who's actually "wimpy" so in contrast everyone around him appears like that.
And this comes from me, someone who actually enjoys also femdom content (and not just in AVNs), a bit like tattoos, in the 80s/90s they meant something, now everyone and their mothers (quite literally) has some if not sleeves... booring

First release was really good. Second not as good, but still enjoying it.
Interesting story, MC is an ex-race car driver, but his personality doesn't seem to fit right for me (far too passive).
A bit too much forced drooling over his dead mom's best friend & landlady for me. Even though you've turned down romance with her, you still get a boner everytime you touch her or she touches you - just weird. Even less than 5 minutes after getting a BJ from someone, help landlady stretch in the gym and boom, MC can't stand up because of his boner. Seriously? a kinda celebrity with a fair amount of sex behind him. Just doesn't fit for me.
There's a few other inconsistencies like that and a couple of broken variables, but for a first AVN in the beginning, I think it's really good overall and shows a lot of promise.

Also yes, unless he's in his puberty (or has hormonal disorders) I don't know of many adults who'd get boners just by being next to a hot lady, even less for ultra competitive dudes (e.g. Race drivers).
That's why he an ex-race car driver, everyone passed him.
