The main issue I have with this update is that you don't really use your mind control in it. Like, there are one or two points where you can use it to bypass a stat check, and one or two points where the protagonist automatically uses it to clear up an awkward situation, but nothing that really makes a difference or changes the dynamics between the characters. The one time he considers doing that, his powers are already on cooldown from an unavoidable usage earlier on. I know expecting a longer update from a longer wait is a logical fallacy, but I was hoping after a year's wait we'd at least get some more of the game's namesake.
If nothing else, I wish we had an option for how to handle Elise's suspicions instead of just erasing them. I would've loved to be able to make her excited at the thought of the protagonist having the power to control people, and wanting him to use it on her.
