1.8 has massive bugs. Honestly surprised it's this broken considering how much time the devs spend doing backend work rather than moving the plot forward

I like this game a lot, a lot. But its kinda sad to see the content related changelog here. In 1.8, story progressed? Yes, it did but by only one freaking small event. Just one event. I thought that dev is done with backend stuff but nah, I guess it would never end.

In short, game is good but each update adds very little content. If you look into files, this update had only 7-8 new images/videos added if you don't consider hacking job which is a side quest.

True this looks more and more like a clever way to milk. (i am not accusing, just suspecting)
Often I just want to say, "Can't wait to see your game!" when folks make comments like that. For even in a "small" update, with seven or so images or vids, I would expect a good ten + hours would be spent editing, writing, and coding for a scene one could click thru in less then five mins. If it was a "story-rich" game, even more since good writing (and of course, smart editing) doesn't come easy.

And that doesn't even include the variables like the person's health or mental wellness, job, or family. Checking the Patreon page, I see #527 backers (Big cheer for that, thx for your support) which by milking standards isn't a big haul after likely spending 20 hrs on a "small" update.

I've got a bug. When opening chat with Cipher, it always goes back to apartment with the only option being "Launch Hacking Tool", as if initiating the story mission to hack the AI. Can't do it, and game is locked out of any option.

On that note, you really should consider a one-click option to go outside and to your apartment menu.

Non ero game (it is RTS) it is however abandoned.

it's the overall backend i wont release a game i plan to finish before the back end is complete and thus i can just add content.
i would rather wait 6 month per update and get 6pics than 1 month and get 1 pic.
the reason i abandoned the game was limitations to the engine, and personal issues.

however, i completly understand where you are coming from, and typically i would agree. which is also why i said i didn't accuse, just started to suspect. i have abselutly no evidence for that. so perhaps i shouldn't have said it to begin with. that is a mistake from my side

You show me, didn't you...:ROFLMAO:

But thinking about the games I do keep a close eye on or support with my cash, I tend to see different levels of updating. One is more storyline driven, the developer I believe does it full time but has two games he alternates with. Most of those updates gives about say 30 mins of new play if one actually reads the dialog (can't say I always do). The other game is more sandbox, so new content (locations, tasks, & general fun) and bug fixes are the norm. And that's with a full time job, getting married, and travel. Now two other games I supported, one was abandon for health issues and the other got tossed because the person thought they could do better with a fresh start.

So anymore, I'm happy if we get any updates even if its just a bug fix. The list is long with abandon projects with a laundry list of reasons. Just mostly plain old burn-out I like to think, since I suffered the same back in the fan-fic days. Even semi-retired now, I doubt seeing myself spending tens of hours writing or even learning how to create a game even with all the great resources F95 has. But maybe that's for the best, because I have no doubt I would get a ton of complaints about this or that and how I don't listen to this random poster that just popped into the thread about this bug or how I should add more choice in a direction I never envisioned or would. Mostly I'm careful with making demands on other people's time, since I can only guess how many hours does into even what most would consider a "small update". As to games I back with my own money, I think its more a personal choice to what one considers a good investment. One I would keep backing even if the person behind the game went dark for near a year, the other I might keep supporting for a few months before a pause. Those are my choices, other backers can make their own decisions. Don't need some rando trying to swoop in and save me and my money from this terrible, awful, and worst engine ever game.

I will admit, this game is on my list for backing if the money becomes available. I see a lot of creativity and promise in it, even if it may take a year or two to get there.

meeting with the psychiatrist after the first hormonal treatment locks the game for me. once she's done with the follow up and you click to leave it just keeps you on the same screen.
