So are the packs out in patreon only or are they not out at all?
If they are out, can someone post them here?
doesn't look like it, either its just people trolling or the most lazy psy-op for more supporters i've ever seen

EDIT: Seems there were packs released, my bad. Just waiting for a hero to come in.

(censoring people's names and pfp incase someone tries to harass plz dont do that)

RANT HERE SKIP IF YOU NOT INTERESTED

events in life that postpones releases indefinitely? never heard that before ig

there's another creator who also makes 3d animation that i particularly like. guys name is MoistCavityMap. during the development of (particularly) Get Your Yordles Off 3 and his other content, he had some life stuff that slowed down his work. dude got sick, moved lots, upgrades to his workstations, among other things, all of which are posted on his patreon publicly (as in, you can view the preview of the post but you can see it in full if you are an active subscriber/member of his). this, alongside creating the models, the environment, and other stuff made every releases and works he make worth it despite how long it does take. fuck i think the Poppy animation alone took like 2 years or something.

now, that's probably an unfair comparison. the guy makes super high quality animations, imagine the planning and other stuff he has to make for his works to get to the point where he's satisfied to release it. and Bluna is only some dude who makes animations inspired by another animation (that being minus8's original PPPPU work) on an otherwise much more limited application (Koikatsu over Unreal Engine/Blender(?? i think he uses unreal)) so i geuss it's not fair right? well the second creator i also love is Sodeno19, he makes animations in Blender. and while the application he uses is as advanced as what Moist uses, i think he is much more fit to be compared against Bluna considering the nature of their work and their rankings on (check it out, Sodeno's @ rank 76, Bluna @ rank 81).

Bluna gets their cards from the internet, sometimes he also makes them himself in case he doesn't see anything that looks good. Sodeno modifies Mihoyo models ripped from the games through headhacking to transfer it to a nude body model. both of them makes voting in patreon so supporters of their work can vote who's the character they want to see next. Sodeno has made tutorials in his archive in the case that someone would make an animation inspired by his works alongside to help other users to work on their own stuff. Bluna's scenes came from the internet, someone posted a scene card that's inspired the original PPPPU poses, and with enough practice, it's easy to modify the scenes to make more poses and to accomodate other character cards. both have their own discord server for their subscribers to discuss in.

the difference is that Sodeno consistently gives updates on how the final project might look through WIPs posted on patreon, same thing with Moist and that's the thing. Bluna's silence is fucking annoying considering supporters pay monthly to see what the next project might look like without knowing what's happening to him while he's working on his projects (so very petty of me considering i don't pay for his work lmfao). at the very least have the decency to tell your supporters to keep them updated and get some people to work alongside you if it is getting difficult to release faster. it's not that hard and it makes the money that they keep sending to you worth it for them, that way they don't keep leaving everytime you go dark and subscribing only when the slop is finally processed for them. it's even worse considering that PPPPU is an old animation, that thing must've been edited and reposted to hell and back, so most would just leave for newer things. best thing that PPPPU has for now is for hoarding the animations because hey, there's not a lot of difference to the animations considering it's just the same poses of different characters, same shit different color. at this point Bluna's silence is no longer "be patient" and more like "grifting"

and don't even get me started on Ikku

alr rant over, lmk what u guys think or something
This is a reoccurring thing with him. Before I even requested the packs here and someone was kind enough to share them.. This is just something I was used to Bluna doing. Even before the whole patreon locked pack thing this is something you simply expected from him. They take much longer than any artist I personally know but by the time he does release something It's usually quite the massive pack of animations. Which is great!

I would have followed him and been a patron because I was there before the cusp of his popularity. But the gaps between him releasing something new was always too massive. And there were too many times where I honestly forget he exists before some dude on rule34 posts some of Bluna's new work, then I'm like "Oh yeah.. that guy". I think it's perfectly reasonable to take your time but you should only stretch that out so much. Because one day, even the people on rule34 will forget you exist. And when you return and actually do release something there might not be anyone there to see it.. even us.
