    The Good

Good Art no question about that
Relatively easy to win, you given choice to get NTR'd or not literally if you don't want main girl betray you, you can always pick none lewd option.

    The Bad
-- Gameplay is not that good, issue its not RPGmaker type of game this more Visual Novel would been better done in Unity something got rid of ugly sprites and made their own characters.
    - Chapters and where to go was still confusing if they didn't give you site star every floor you always get lost, no clear direction

    The Ugly

    - Sex scenes, both NTR and non are so-so, non-animated, and just shaking jpeg. This was big issue for me this would been better if didn't just have sprite sex and some scenes with nice art were animated

Solid game still, had interesting story wish NTR was better and game shouldn't of been made in RPGmaker if VN style story telling

This closer to VN than RPGM cause there's none RPG elements in this game because basically this game is just Search for the character, talk, make a choice, fix barrier, search for the events, repeat. The art is great and if you can't bear the wall of text (especially when the MC having flashback in nearly every day) you can just enter the recollection room, basically this game for me is carried by the art.

man what a good game this was. even though i'm an ntr fan, this time i preferred the vanilla route with some ntr bait. leo's father was a good man. my father never talked to me like that, but the way he talked to his son, the way he gave advice, the way he interacted with him, made my eyes a little teary. i've never felt this way from any game, not even rdr2. it put my heart at rest. thank you, leo's dad. i'll be a better person. i won’t let my loved ones down just because of the failure i've been. and thanks to the devs for making such a good game. i owe you

easily one of the best ntr games ive played. mostly because the target is pushed very very far, you really see the peak ntr, while other ntr games fail at that. definitly up there with scars of summer in my mind, truely peak stuff.

Mirage's Defection is the best NTR game of the year.
    Why?
~ The art is amazingly great (I love the heroine's design).
~ The H-scenes is amazingly hot (Vanilla and NTR).
~ The MC got a ton of H-scenes (with main FMC and sec FMC)
~ You can steal sec FMC from her bull.
~ Choices that branches to different outcome.
    ~ A very unique gameplay.
~ Same universe as their previous game (with some cameos).

My suggestion? If you love NTR, try it at least once.

Boring game with barely any H art. Only play this if you have a lot of time to waste reading while praying you see anything happen. Like you will get one short h scene every couple of hours while playing.

The only game I was extremely hyped for its release, and it did not disappoint! I was a big fan of the developers previous game, and this one improves upon the design in every way. I would have liked some more variation when it came to CG's in scenes, but it was still very enjoyable. Cant wait for their next game!

This game has a really great story. Not often does a H game have me so invested in it's lore and characters. I love the characters in this game and Its great how much freedom of choice you have regarding scenes and relationships. I highly recommend it.

++ Interesting Story (at least for me, love the overarching plot & connection w/ prev game & future game)
    + Pretty Good Art
+ Relatively easy to win (true end & worst end are pretty close)

-- Gameplay is not that good, probably cause it's RPGmaker
    - Sex scenes, both NTR and non are so-so, non-animated, and just shaking jpeg
    - The branch/routing is unclear as hell it's confusing

The truth is I thought it would be boring but I liked it a lot, the story is connected to the previous game and how little by little they corrupted the FMC I like that and the you can have a happy ending , I look forward to the next installment

All things considering a pretty good game. I could have asked for more obvious corruption but tomboy NTR is great, reverse NTR is also interesting. CGs are simple but good. The story has a good amount of choices and the player is given agency in a way most NTR games don't. Highly recommend this one.

    Another story from chimoLab.

This one has a great plot with 3 main routes, props to chimoLab, he usually nails these WNTR / reverse NTR themed story. Hot CG as well, though it might be better if the corruption had more transformation effects.

Lots of CG's and mulitple routes make this game very enjoyable to play! Further, the game takes place in the same universe as his previous game which added a little extra excitement for the people who like their work and this genre. My only gripe about this game is that you move a lil slow even when running, which I expect from any RPGM game anyways. Overall lovely game and I look forward to more content from them!

Between 3 and 4, but closer to 3.
GAMEPLAY: very frustrating -- run click, read/skip a wall of text, repeat. This is a common case when you play a visual novel made in RPG maker. RenPY would fit this game much more.
STORY: at the start, you're presented with an intrigue -- you're guarding something extremely important for 20 days to learn

Logic is all over the place. Characters behave dull and dumb. Closer to the end, even the developer breaks the fourth wall and says themselves "sorry for inconsistencies in the story".
On the other hand, a good thing is that you're almost not 'forced' into NTR and the two protagonists almost always have an option to 'walk away'. Still, there is no gradual corruption if you skipped first several scenes, as your characters are forced immediately into fucking in the third or fourth encounter.
Too bad such approach isn't applicable

GRAPHICS: either pixel fucking (including "silhouettes behind the curtains" for NTR lovers), or generic but censored anime porn (including face-mask fetish).

In conclusion, for a 6-7 hours' game (if you skip 2/3 of the text), it's somewhere between bad and good -- it clearly lacks a better consistent story and needs more engaging gameplay.

Characters designs and premise are peak but the gameplay and writing are mid. Four stars for a gallery worth spending some time in after playing enough to get the premise.

It's the RPGM classic, hunting for scenes needlessly dragged out by a map that could have been 1/4 the size with 1/2 the transitions. A map that tells you where events... might be. Or not. Go there and probably find out you wasted your time.

Dialogue is simply subpar too. Sex dialogue is meh, corruptor just explains what's going on in a self-congratulatory manner while coruptee expresses some reluctance/shameful pleasure, not too detailed.

The mitigating upside of the premise and art/character designs being exceptional mean this game is good for the gallery.

Okay wow, that was actually the most brutal NTR game I've ever played, I actually cared a lot about the characters and their relationships with each other (even the villainess is given pathos) and the full NTR end actually hurt. Hell, it hurt so much that the author made the true love end the actual canon ending because otherwise the game would be too bleak. The pacing was really, really slow especially in the first half but that time is used well to set up the world and characters for the brutal second half.

The artwork is excellent and the design of our 2.3 heroines (the third girl is an afterthought with only a few scenes) is also phenomenal, they're very hot and the facial expressions in particular are amazingly done. There's lots of CGs, there are plenty that get reused but great writing and contextualization keeps you from feeling ripped off by them, unlike other NTR games seeing sex in this is a huge payoff. Some people might not like the small 'windows' of CG that move or fade around the screen as opposed to fullscreen CG but I found the vertical and diamond shaped layouts to be a stylish and attention-grabbing change of pace, it made you feel more like a voyeur catching a glimpse of a hidden act.

Despite how much I enjoyed the game and it hit me on some levels I haven't been hit before by an NTR game I do have some complaints. We could have used more scenes in the beginning half of Kotori, she feels underused and with her already being corrupted it would have been a good place to get in decent porn early before the corruption of the actual main characters begins. The gameplay loop of going around the mansion is tedious as hell in Chapters 2 and 3 before the real start of the porn. And the recollection gallery is buggy, awful, ugly, and highly incomplete, leaving the only REAL way to masturbate to this as obsessively saving before scenes and keeping a log of those scenes.
And my number one complaint is there's no super bad ending where the main villain steals all 3 girls to form a harem, it would have been incredibly hot

I still think the two Scars of Summer games are better for a quick NTR fap but this is genuinely quality stuff and an unbelievable improvement over Tear of the Crypt which was very disappointing and felt undercooked, what a massive leap in quality for a sequel. Keep Circle ChimaLABO on your radars in the future.

Guide past the review below, highly recommended to read. If I had that guide before playing the game, I'd have given it a 5, that's how important I think it is.

The story is good and the corruption is very well paced. It's a bit of a slow burn, which is perfect. I appreciate how the NTR wasn't shoved in your face as much as some other titles. There aren't exactly a lot of CGs or animation, but I didn't feel their absence; the ones that exist were chosen carefully and used very efficiently. A testament to how well designed the game was.

The main issue is missing out on scenes and interactions combined with being a slow burn makes scene hunting and trying to see the whole game an absolute nightmare. The recollection room kind of sucks too. These problems knocked my score down to a 4. However, you CAN see pretty much all the scenes with only one playthough, so it's not an unfixable 4.

    GUIDE:
    Turn on auto-run, as usual.

Most of the stat gains and losses don't matter at all, and you only lock into an ending almost right before the end. You're almost entirely free to go max corruption so that you can see all the extra exploration scenes as well as the flavor changes in the Two Hearts screen.

It is possible to softlock due to lack of mana. To avoid, eat dinner at every opportunity and avoid using Luna's mana replenishment except for emergencies. Kurone's mana replenishment can help.

    Paths:
    1. Flag + Confirmed
    2. Main Route (either No Flag, or Flag + Denied)
      1. Success (True End)
      2. Failure (Ending Variation 1 and 2)

The most compact way is to play through Flag + Confirmed, then revert to Flag + Denied to Failure. If you care about the nonNTR pure scene variations, revert to No Flag, in either case finish the game by playing to the True End (hold alt+enter to skip as fast as possible).

Keep a couple of save slots (it's very easy to accidentally save over a previous one or miss a dialogue option because it continued the story). This will get you Important Information key items, this will be used to be able to see all the corruption scenes while still being able to choose any ending.

Make sure to unlock all the information about the Treasure (for the True End). If you use every evening and night, you can also get all of Kurone's scenes.

Luna's small talk changes as she gets corrupted, be sure to check.

Paying attention to Two Hearts system updates, and using your brain a little to figure out where scenes might be, it's very hard to miss anything. Use the "Look Inside the Mansion" map to help.

This game is so good. I'm in day 5 so far, going through everything slowly(played it for like 2 hours) and I like Luna's slow corruption, getting the girls around MC taken by some low tier goblin/demon kinda monster and MC getting seduced by pink hair chick, it's hot af. Idk if there is a vanilla route(if there is I'll definitely play it) but so far I'm picking all the messed up options to betray your loyal servant Luna and get manipulated by Kurone.

Game progress slowly so if you want sex scenes right off the bat and a dialogue skipper, this game is not for you.
But check out the visuals if you find the character designs hot, for example if you enjoy tanned skin waifus such as Luna, it's worth putting couple hours into imo. Because as game builds up the environment slowly, h-scenes gets quite hot. ;)

-The story is fine, the ntr is avoidable or it could be the protagonist who is seduced by another woman.
-Few images for the average duration of 5 to 6 hours
-It's tedious to have to go to specific points to see the fucking map to see where the events are.
    -there is no fighting
-the MP is tedious, you get to the point where you have to use the spell but you forget to load mp and now you have to go see where the girls are to load more mp and you waste a LOT of time
    - the game feels SLOW
-In the game there is only the mansion as an area and it feels very boring to always have to be in the same place
-Typical NTR logic where the fucking protagonists can't ask each other what's happening

-The story is perhaps the only thing that can really be saved except its ending. Spoilers: in the end they screw up the whole issue of star casting to promote other games by the creator, which makes the story weaken at the end.

I dont play NTR games usually, but the premise was interesting enough to draw in a normie like me - the result is mixed.
On one hand the story is a lot more logical, characters are smarter than your average NTR, but on the same side the most satisfying ending is still where they all just fucking die.
And so if youre a fan of retarded Shakespeare characters all dying for a retarded reason - its for you.

But not so much for me and "gameplay" is absolutely boring, this shoudve been a VN in which youd be able to skip the seen parts instead of holding the left mouse button for a literal hour and doing chores.
P.s.before saying that "true end" is canon - no. If you have to "possess" characters to act against their default choices to get to it then it is the "what if", not the other endings.
