Edit : It's in 11 month (am just stopid)
No, that date (November 1st) is the for next article that updates the development process. The developer stated before that it's probably impossible for the game to be released this year.

Hey Neo-V,
What kind of tool do you use to translate the game from japanese to english?
Or are you able to read japanese fluently yourself?
Actually, I don't use any tool, I tried it in the past and it was big hassle, took a lot of time and it didn't even work in the end, and no, I'm not japanese reader either, I simply use the stone age method by using the the Google translation camera on the app.

With the help of Neo-V and google lens, I was able to enjoy this first pre-release of chimaLABO's new project so thank you for that.
After finishing it I think this 0.1.0 should have been the demo and a more fleshed out version would have been the 0.1.0 because I don't think it was a good way to market their new game. You can see the dev worked on it but there's no playable content at all. Not one h-scene, not all the houses in this tiny little town are explorable and nothing happens. You go into a barebone forest and you do a... forgettable mini game of training like in the demo, not better, the same and... DONE.

From what I gathered with this 0.1.0, this game feels like the first game. Might be fleshed out with more support cast like Luna but it feels the same except a human took the place of Sadi and that's it... I hope I'm wrong, I really do but it feels off, like nothing was learned from the second game or it wasn't applied into this new project.

Fingers crossed, I wish chimaLABO the very best in this endeavour but it feels like leaving the huis-clos format might be a tougher feat than expected for them.

Maybe that's just because the game is at a very early stage of development, or maybe because it was originally designed as a sort of interlude. The dev decided to turn it into a "proper" game later into development, so the expanded elements might still be in the works. I genuinely hope the dev makes their future games more open and less linear, but I also understand that those changes would add a lot of development time. I think a small town setting with a few npcs and side quests would be a great next step, letting you do whatever you want while keeping track of a deadline or something.

There's also the possibility that this game is more focused on the plot, since it will tie the previous games with whatever comes next. That would mean the dev needs more control over the events and thus can't give the players too much freedom. So far, this series hasn't disappointed me, so I'm hopeful that each game will be better than the last.

More curious to see what the new blue girl will bring to the table than anything else, but I guess we won't see her game until 2027. Well nothing to do but wait.

Am I the only one who expected Meryl's voice to have much higher tone to it? Not that I'm complaining or anything her voice is pretty hot but perhaps I'll need some time to get used to it since what I've had in mind was completely diffrent.

Nope, for some reason Japan assumes that good girls are squeakers and bad girls are contraltos. Musicals do it too, villain songs are almost always lower than the heroes song, especially for women.

Not a clue why to be honest.

Hot take on this - choices don't have to "matter" in the sense that they have direct consequences on events. They can just be there for the player to build their own narrative and it's fine. Case and point this game. I do wish the branching point for the NTR was less "THIS IS THE BRANCHING POINT" in all caps. But not every choice has to matter. Not playing the demo cause I hate revisiting games but just hoping it turns out as good as mirage did.

You only realize what things have or don't have story consequences if you spoil yourself or if you are replaying the game.

I didn't know he had decided to make it a full game.

Yeah, the dev said the "mini" game will be bigger than the first one but smaller than this one.

Don't get me wrong, I love the dev's philosophy of letting you get any ending you want despite your choices. I hate it when NTR games force you into the bad ending as soon as you trigger a single NTR scene and make you play a boring virgin route for the good ending. What I want are more scene variations based on your choices and for scenes to build on each other. It takes me out of the experience when avoiding certain scenes doesn't change later ones, like not triggering the first proper sex event between Luna and Eviru. A good change to this game would have been to add variations of that first sex scene, depending on the day you triggered it.

The demo will be eventually updated to add more scenes (Celia part time job & Meryl waiting for Hayato in his house at night)
