No idea really -- my guess would be his account got flagged or reported in some way. Patreon is really cracking down on what is allowed and what is not.

In reality, when Patreon bans an account the page appears as 1 of the 2 options: A- "this page is under review" and B- "this page was removed", in this case the account was not banned since it still appears the user, which means that the one who closed the account was the same user/dev.
