When you say crashed, do you mean the program shut down altogether, or it froze and stopped responding?
This was definitely fixed in 0.9.B and I just tested it. However, you can get around it by copying the file AbbieIntro2 from the img/pictures/yard folder to img/pictures (Copy, don't move, as the game will still look for it in the yard folder for other scenes.)

In Avenging Angel, after Poppy gives Missy the task to do with Malia's phone, there is some text saying she'd better update Angel first. But going to Angel only results in her saying hello to Missy, with no opportunity to talk about the task etc.
Separately I've read that it's possible for Malia to find out Missy was behind the phone prank, but I can't seem to get that to trigger. Going to her house the day after, Malia is annoyed with the punishment but is unaware it was Missy. Is there a way for her to find out, and if so how please?

Thanks for the bug report, I'll check into why Angel's dialogue isn't showing. But the good news is that it's not necessary to progress the quest and you can go and send the message just fine.
If I remember rightly, you can confess what you did to Malia after the quest is complete.

Thanks for that. Yeah it was really the Malia finding out bit that I was interested in, as that didn't happen on my first playthrough. So I thought it might be telling Angel about it that triggered Malia finding out.
EDIT: Scratch that - managed to confess to Malia now.

Definitely a good game I just finished 3 chapters but I will stop i won't try again until it's completed, sorry dev but I just don't want to torture myself.

hi, I'm lock into the chapter 2 quest at hotel where Iget elevator pass and enter second room with the woman that make me drink champagne.
at first try I did exchange the package (first in the top left locker, then once at phone in bath went back to elevator, went in changing room pick package) then comming back in elevator, then in the woman room and hide in the sofa the package, but ended up drunk.
got a message that I have to try again without drink too much champagne.
Problem on second day, I do not have the option to not drink at any moment. + when she go on bathroom, when I am suposed to go down elevator to switch package in the locker room (bottem right exclamation mark), I simply can't interact with the locker.
so i'm climbing the elevator again go in the room ... have the option to hide something in the sofa ... the woman come back force me to drink (still no option to refuse) and I end up drunk once more.
can't end this quest.
Need help.

You have to drink when you first enter the room. After that, do not interact with the drink, even when prompted. You must offer her a drink when the game prompts you.

How do you get the defeat mode scene with refusing to give up your seat? I keep having Missy refuse and get "saved by the bell," so to speak.
What message do you get? As long as defeat mode is on and it's not the first day, it should happen every time unless a special event is in its way.
Ahh, that explains it. I've been trying it on the first day. I'm assuming it's a random event? I played through all available content in defeat mode, but never saw it. But perhaps I'm just unlucky.
