You can use Page Up/Page Down to swap between characters on that menu. It's nice.

Man, why did I even try to start a conversation about trying to improve the game's experience for everyone when all they have to say is "just play other games". Seeing the dev's train of thoughts are just the same. I guess I won't regret putting 1 star in the review and deez nuts bad nuts in the review of this particular game lol. With that 1000 monster girls in the title, guessing the characters would also only be walking sex toys with annoying tropes with nothing worth noticing except for their tits and ass lol. I'm finding that I'm starting to fall behind in levels as compared to the content once I get past Capital City. Especially in Eldar, I was a good 5 or 6 levels behind the quests. It wasn't THAT big of a deal, but it seems like it's going to become a big deal if I keep falling behind.
And yes, I'm doing 100% of the optional content including every training arena battle I can manage, everything in the tournaments, and every repeatable contract up until the point that I can't complete it anymore. There just doesn't seem to be enough content to get me to the level I feel like I'm expected to be.

Also, this game is prime for someone to create some sort of in-depth guide, especially when it comes to finding the materials to create mythic weapons. I'm having some trouble locating a few of them and it seems like I may have missed them forever. Might make a good patreon backer reward if the developer wanted to write something like that up and park it behind a fair paywall. Just a suggestion.

I mean, you kind of said it yourself...1,000 is IN THE TITLE. Yet you're still refusing to just go and play another game? It's clearly not to your tastes. The whole 1000 thing isn't just hidden midway into the game. It's the entire premise of this game. That's kinda like me, who hates NTR, going onto a thread of an NTR game and being annoyed when other people tell me to just find a non-NTR game when the premise is clearly in the title.

I don't even have a problem with this comment. I think you're right. The 1 star review is unfair though, I didn't even say anything.
No, their clues weren't enough for me and I'm more than willing to admit that's just my own dumbassery if that's the case. But, for example, a couple of recipes mention some sort of web from Slipstream. I did everything in that area and have a gold star on the map but I never saw anything like that and can't make the items that mention it.
Another mentions something that can be gotten from bandits around the capital. I've done that contract five times. Whatever I'm supposed to be getting from them, I'm not getting.
I appreciate that you probably want players to do a little exploration and figure things out for themselves but honestly, just spell it out for me like I'm a mentally challenged toddler and I'll appreciate that a lot more. Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way though, I don't know.

I think that's about as spelt out as it could be. The Black Chapter is sold by the Slipstreams weapon merchant, and the Ninja's Art drops from the Ninja Bandits in the Capital City repeatable mission.

If you're not getting the drops you need, you can use a golden coin to double your drop chance.
Absolutely no idea where I fought a giant beach spider but the way you're asking makes me think it's obvious so I'll check again. If I already fought it though, I didn't get what I needed from it.

It seems the combination of RNG drop rates and a soft cap on the number of chances you get at it means that it's possible to screw yourself out of being able to craft that particular item. Maybe that should be a guaranteed drop then? Unless being able to miss out on that is intended design, idk what your design philosophy is there so maybe that's intended.

Well, my design philosophy is that there are a lot of cool weapons. You should use what isn't too far out of reach and you shouldn't really go out of your way to grind much.
That said...
The drop rate for the Ninja's Art is 35% on Swiftstroke, and 35% on Bandit Rouges. (58% chance to get a Ninja's Art if you do both)
Complete the Bandit Quest 3 times, and the chance to get a Ninja's Art is 82%.
If you were to use a "Lucky Coin" at any time before fighting them, or equip the accessory from Little Shroom City that doubles item drop chance (which you should if you plan to grind), then the chance goes straight to 99%.
With these numbers being what they are, it is possible for you to be a 1/100, but I hope you understand why I feel like the random chance is fair enough as it is right now.

I hope there are future plans for Taurs to get knocked up. I've enjoyed the few taurs in the game so far, even if they're un-impregnable atm.
