Thanks for the feedback. That’s not how the “ai cg” tag works. It’s meant for games that primarily use AI-generated character art or CGs, not projects where background elements were assisted with AI tools.

It’s a bit frustrating to see the assumption, because this game contains hundreds of hours of hand-drawn, original artwork. Real work by real artists. Suggesting the whole thing should be tagged as “ai cg” because of backgrounds (of all 160 tuned myself) dismisses that effort.

I’m also someone who prefers to filter out heavy AI-generated projects, so I understand the concern. If even light background assistance qualifies for the tag, it ends up hurting artists more than helping anyone’s 'filters.'

The backgrounds in this game were always generated by AI. They just looked so bad back in 2023, that people couldn't really tell?

Trust me, I really did try everything I could to avoid using AI-assisted backgrounds. I spent ages looking for alternatives: stock photos, asset packs, anything that could fit my game’s tone. But the reality is that a huge amount of stock art these days is quietly AI-generated anyway, sometimes even falsely marketed as real. And ironically, even when I used backgrounds that weren’t AI-generated, I still got accused of using AI.

At a certain point I just thought fine, screw it. It’s not like the backgrounds are replacing any hand-drawn CGs, or anyone's work. The backgrounds are just a way to avoid leaving players with flat colour washes, abstract smears, or blurry photos that break immersion.

And honestly? Most players seem to appreciate it. I’ve run polls, and the feedback has been that people would rather have an actual location backdrop, than a blurry gradient. And for a solo developer, it solves a massive problem that would either cost $10,000+ and months of dev time. I've had people suggest that I just pay someone for the background art, but I literally wouldn't be able to afford that. This game could not exist as it does without taking advantage of this tool.
I know it annoys some people who hate AI on principle, and I get where that comes from. I'm happy to continue rethinking this and finding a better solution. By all means, give me a suggestion. But like I already said, Monster Girl 1,000's background have been AI for over three years now.
I feel a lot of people just assume that AI cg is just getting a subscription to Open AI or grok or something, and letting it shit out art for you. Having dabbled with ComfyUI a bit, I know it is still a process just getting a workflow going and understanding how all the parts work. Especially true if you are tuning your own models. I'm not a fan of over reliance on the tech but I can certainly see the value of it for mundane things like backgrounds or generic bits that don't require a lot of the audience's attention and appreciate the fact that foreground work is still mainly hand drawn. I feel you have a good balance for the amount of productivity you have. Not many devs on this site have as many actual completed projects under their belt that are as well thought out.

MASSIVE HYPOCRITE INCOMING , PREPARE FOR A DELUSIONAL RANT ONLY AVAILABLE TODAY,YOUR MENTALLY CHALLENGED GUEST YOURS TRULY "PODEDEAD" : I don't post usually , but you are my favorite game designer on this website , sadly i m to poor to show my appreciation (throw me in front of the gallows if ya will),but i will say this if i ever release the abomination i m about to create ,you and your works are my inspiration along side some other crimes against humanity i play!
I make this message because i want to clarify a few things . first of all i barely started learning rpg maker and bits of godot , i can barely make a message appear on screen , i hate the action coding XD ,but i found something funny since i hate ai and i want to be as natural in my creation as possible (and possibly learn something as well ,ya know step by step), i used old photos on my phone with stupid filters ,sometimes even tik tok filters to make the photos look stupid or out of place ,and sometimes you can just arrange something around and make it look viable for that , now granted i m a a faggot lego fan,a pokemon suker , a starwars crippled and a warhammer loser , so i have a couple of diagrams and lands i can use if i want to be fancy in the background ,MAYBE THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE TO YOU , but filters with a bit of camera work it's way easier , faster and sometimes even funnier to work with than ai or whatever, that half the time never makes what I want or what i envision , heck sometimes i make some photos for hours just cuz it's so fun to edit XD.
i also let 2 photos as an idea of what i did in 2 min while i created this long rant , i don't want to see you give up on creativity and fun , that will later sip into your work , i learned this from my old work place in a factory, sometimes you gotta make your own fun to keep everything running, just be creative and find a work around that is fun to do , instead of a easy route that leads to nothing , again you can take everything with a lot of saaalt since i don't know your circumstances that well ,i can barely code, and i hate ai ,also i m just an idiot who saw something awesome and said , yea i can do that XD
Keep up the great work and hope you can find a good substitution for the ai thing , and bless us with greater games :D

The game actually has less AI content now. Half the entire point of the 2.0 update was to remove every single AI-generated character from the game. I spent two full weeks hand-drawing new art for Tamamo, Ulti, Erika, Mammon’s scene, Blackjack’s scene, Rosaria’s scene, and every remaining AI-generated NPC portrait was replaced with a silhouette.

I thought it'd be cool to fix the mistakes i made back in 2023 when AI just seemed like a new, cool thing back then. So it’s fucking frustrating to see people acting like the game has suddenly “turned into” AI content when I'm literally fixing it.

Where do we find these characters if we already finished the game?

I don't remember very well, but the "android" version I played a long ago was even worse that the windows version with joiplay. Are there a particular reason why it exists? There are new events that maybe Joyplay will fuck up? Coffee or chocolate milk?

Me reading everyone struggling with whatever this new content is at the end of the game: I gotta get my ass in gear when it comes to these guides...

An android version has been added to the OP, thanks for your patience!

I think you're misunderstanding. No sex content or important content was removed, these were just random NPCs using AI-Gen art that showed up for 30 seconds in the finale. The scene they were in was cut for pacing.
Yep, sorry my language not english and text in ( ) confuse me

hey man, as long as it's solid and not missing stuff I say take your time... just let me know when its done. For as much as I enjoyed this game during my first playthrough, learning about the shit I missed afterwards made me realize how much I appreciate proper guides and walkthroughs

I dont know if this is a bug or if im doing something wrong.
Ray recently hit level 34-35. I made a healing build for her using the tier 4 healing armor and other healing items. However nowwhen its her turn she AUTO ATTACKS with Magic storm 1. SHe is not silenced or anything like that. for a few continuous battles she has been doing it off and on and only SOMETIMES i get to use her for the turn. This is very frustrating as i built her to be a healer. Im playing on rpg master difficulty and she has no autoattack items. How do i fix this?

I also do find it funny and also somewhat interesting how, underneath the hood, there was absolutely groundwork early on to flesh characters out as having their own kit, which admittedly we do see in things like training/colosseum battles, but it'd have been interesting to existed in the timeline where party members could be changed/added freely. But also, for obvious reasons that'd dramatically increase the scope of the game and be a ton of work. C'est la vie. Still appreciate these few battles.
