Yeah that happened to me, my save files just somehow appeared into the newest version without me having to move them, thanks for answering.
When I downloaded the mod and added to the mod folder it completely broke my game won't let me do anything in the world map

v25.5a is now out for important bug fixing and some smol QoLs.
I'd recommend downloading the game fresh and putting it into a new folder.
If you used v25.2 that could be a cause too for a fuckered save, so you may need to roll back to a save from before that version if you have it. Though this doesn't really sound like that's the issue if functions are just not being read.
In regards to your posts in general, I'm not uh, fully sure what happened, but it looks like for some reason some functions aren't working or something?Guys, does someone else have same problem? I guess somebody already report that, but the game is acting painfully slow after some point

As I can see it's because of files refreshment any time something new coming on screen
Battles with imp den literally freeze the game for a few seconds from action to action

Have you tried checking your preferences on the main/pause menu to see if you have the unseen text option selected?

There is a mistake in dialogue with Tabitha in first enconter where if you choose to have sex she'll call you by your name but MC didn't introduce himself yet

That doesn't do anything. The way it is coded means that it always skips unseen text regardless of the preferences.
that's the weird part i tried both when it's lighten pink or white but in both choices it's doing the same and skipping everything

Okay, one problem I have with this game is when entering the capital or at least starting the process of going into the capital. just disable the save function... or force a save before you commit to entering the captial if losing this fight results in a game over quit to title, tell me that as a player. Because if you make the mistake I did and save you end up in a soft lock where you cant beat the boss too low level and you cant reset to the town because its an instant game over... and I dont have another save so I guess I have to start completely over?
Or in fact just make it so I cant save anywhere but the town and it would remove this problem entirely, more so if saving in the town is best for new updates as such make it so its the ONLY place you can save or your room for example...

It's been a while since I've needed to go and fight Dark Perpetua, but doesn't the game literally stop you and warn you when you decide to go the capital?

Cant remember because I cant really go back and find out but perhaps it does warn not to save? But with this kind of game over sending you right to the title screen rather then the town you would think disabling the save would be a simple solution to avoid this kinda soft locking
just overlevel yourslef like i did when i was getting to capital i was 178 and both Perpetua and the coated imp looked at me like really n*gga i'm also playing on hardest mode and tbf whole time i was playing it so safe that i haven't entered church other way then through main gate (yes i haven't been beated once and if i was beated i just loaded last save to keep it clean tho idk if it's right way to do since i have no idea if there are some events that can only happen when you get defeated)

What, Dark Perpetua can lead to full game over? I should really start trying everything out instead of just trying to win
Yeah, I do the same thing, though when I really want to lose I save to a different slot for easy access to the scene, but don't worry since most of the scenes are repeatable.
