My reasoning is imp juices are produced naturally and given without any artificial modification, so they aren't a drug even if it's a foreign substance for your body. It certainly has an effect on your body but I think this is more lacking a better tag to explain what is going on.

That's one of the dumbest things I've heard in a while. Why exactly do you think that the juices being produced naturally means that they aren't a drug? By your logic mescaline is not a drug because it occurs naturally. A great many drugs have natural origins. The salient point is if it is a substance that the MC is ingesting (or inhaling etc.) that has an effect on him.

All of mgd substances are closer to aphrodisiac enhancing foods than they are drugs, i tried looking into the actual definitions further and the only thing closest to classifying drugs and living organisms is biologics or things which contain animals produce (like conjugated estrogen)
But in and of itself stuff like imp juices and Kaia venom being a drug? It falls into the gray territory, maybe if it was processed into something it'd be a drug, so at best the only actual drug is elly's one aphrodisiac experiment, who knows what that has though

I mean, "drug" is defined as any chemical compound that is often used for medicinal or recreational purposes. The only differentiating factor for when it becomes "toxin" or "poison" is wholly intent, and those two aren't necessarily technical terms in the strictest sense. It's along the same lines of what differentiates the types of "murder" by the law is largely down to circumstances and intent. At the end of the day, someone's life was brought to an abrupt end by another's hands.

Generally drugs are things you put into your body, not things your body produces internally. So, insulin injected to control diabetes, although based on a natural enzyme, is seen as a drug, while the insulin your own pancreas produces for your own consumption is not. So, if you shot up adrenaline (say, to restart your heart) that would be seen as a "drug," while the stuff your adrenal glands make to boost your fight-or-flight ability under stress is not. Debatable. Side discussions are alright, but experience has taught me that when side discussions aren't reigned in, they take to take over the thread until interest dies out or it gets locked. That, or people start bashing the dev and it devolves into a cesspool of gripes and bullying people who huffed too much copium or people who didn't bother reading the last 3 pages to get a feel on the situation before replying.This thread is like a desert when we ARENT arguing, so isnt it actually a good thing?
