That's a five and a half year old review, I don't think it was worth getting worked up over lmao
Well, shit. I thought it was a more recent review because the notification bell jumped me to it. Christ, that's both embarrassing and annoying. Only one thing to do, then.

Edit, this is the most recent review:

I love BF games and this one absolutely appeals to me. The art is usually great, the writing is decent, and the game actually has real gameplay - the combat isn't mindless like in most other games. However, I’m giving it only 2 stars due to the lack of CGs - apparently, a new one is released only once every two months! For a developer earning $3,000 per month, this is just ridiculous.
I... I'm a bit at a loss for words. There are Japanese games that have fewer CG's and less content. Of all the legitimate criticisms you could level at the game and its developer, it's a lack of pictures that impacts your opinion that much? And here I thought I was toeing the line with talking down about Threshold's focus on side content.

Yeah, for some reason review notifications takes you to the first review instead of the latest. Made me turn off notifications for them.

is there a way to cheat the money?
a file to increase the money i have?
want to try couple of things
From the wiki:
  1. First go to the base folder of MGD where you find launch the game executable, then go to the game folder.
  2. Find and open the file script.rpy in any text editor, such as Notepad.
  3. Use the keys ctrl+f on your keyboard to bring up a search box, and then provide it with #$ config.console = True.
  4. Uncomment the line of code by removing the ``#`` hashtag. Ensure the proper indentation level by counting for four spaces before ``$ config.console``.
  5. Save the file.
  6. Open the game.
  7. After loading your save or starting your new game and completing character creation, press shift+o (the letter O and not the number 0).
  8. Enter: player.inventory.money = 69
(Replace 69 with however much money you want.)

Someone... please update The Plappening mod so it works on the newer version of this game!

Alternatively... hey, Thresh... any chance I could bribe you into incorporating Plappening, Lotta Love, Azure Blaze, Dragons, and a few other choice mods into the core game?

I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'd love to be able to mod this with Live2d and make some simple animations for some of the grapples. I'm pretty sure Ren'Py supports it but I'm not sure about the MGD's support for this type of thing.

Ask Threshold here or on his discord. There are animations in scenes such as Kotone's hypnosis training so there may be modding support for it.

Renpy should have no issue and by extension mgd shouldn't it's not a regurgitated mess of code like LT.

From everything I've researched on it so far, it would have to be a hard coded mod. Seems there a couple different ways it could go: Masked movies or Live2D. I'm not much of a 2d artist myself so I imagine I will just dissect some of the art that's there and piece together a simple Live2d model that I can use to make a simply animated masked movie.

Does anyone have any ideas for which characters I should start on as a test run? Any characters you'd like to see move a little bit?

I dont have a charachter recomendation, but a action recomendations.
headpetting, tail wagging, ear wagging/twitching, slowly blinking of the eyes while there is a smile forming.

This might be a stupid question, but is there a reason Belle sometimes doesn't wear a bra and sometimes she does? Is it a sign of anything?

Seeing Venefica's ears move would be fun :D
Also Ceris having some moving flames and/or smoke as well as tail/ear wagging
