Wasn't the apartment building introduced recently? Also bugs need fixing and that's better done sooner than later. Not saying this game isn't slow updating.

HOLY SHIT AN UPDATE, EVERYONE STAY CALM-

*Reads changelog* wait.

fucking shit. god fucking dammit. Why am I still here? Why do I even get excited for anything? i'm gonna be a grandma when the game gets another major update. I swear this game and Lilith's Throne are gonna update for real when fucking Half Life 3 releases.
the update today was just a bugfix. V27 from like a week ago is reasonably substantial.

There's been a major update about ten days ago, featuring a whole new area with a plethora of interactions, erotic scenes, and even new characters... plus a good amount of new content across the board.

27a is indeed a patch update, but if you expect a major update in ten days, you might want to temper your expectations

This is why I stopped giving the creator money, this is another foreverproject now.
It's a big project that's constantly being developed, and on which progress is steadily being made.

Yes, the game's scope is bigger than the dev initially anticipated, but they've always been upfront about that, have always made sure to release new content on a regular basis, and have never hidden content behind paywalls or such.

We'd all want the game to be content complete as soon as possible, but this is a game made by human beings with human limitations. Speaking of a "foreverproject" like the dev is just sitting pretty and waiting for the money to flow in feels disingenuous.

Was initially really meh on a big content update having stuff that is just one and done puzzles/traps. The fact you can slap them into the labyrinth redeems it a bit for replayability so that's good. I cant imagine what would happen without valentino though, getting a second writer in really helped the patches not seem anemic with no additions to older content. Keep up the good work, and I hope the pace can improve in the future.

Lots of people seem to think devs can work magic, push past burnouts, depression, eventual disinterest, and the constant pull of life which splinters out the amount of focus one can put into developing the game. It's unreasonable. Not only that, but this game is entirely free, no one needs to pay for it, so when I see people being rude, it annoys me. Thank you for your work on the game, and I hope the project stays fun for you + Threshold for all the time it takes to complete. :)

The last one is the most straightforward, just make sure you are only the only floor you havent needed to go to yet and pay attention to the last sentence of the clue. Also if you have at least 10 Intelligence, you can get a bonus hint that pretty much gives away the answer from the "stop and think..." menu

In a bit of a fever dream while recovering from driving across the country I decided that I was tired of the "Suckubus" mod having some breaks in it while also having untapped potential (imo).

Link to the Original:

All credits to herbfeenix for this (this link is from the discord and is more uptodate than the one on the wiki)

Link to mine:

(Need to dig into the folders since I am going to try to do a bit more modding it's in "Stuff I attempted to fix/Suckubus")

I have a changes and source doc but here it is as well:

I make zero claims about the quality of the writing, and since I'm mostly a lurker here someone will need to take the plunge and confirm my assertions that the mod isn't filled with keyloggers/viruses etc.

I made heavy use of AI, curious about how much it would help and it was surprising how much my co-pilot program was willing to help with lewd writing. I can't attest that it will be as useful to everyone since I have a pretty good background in programming/CS so I could spot it when it tried to introduce something that would break everything.

All in all, it took me a 2-3 hours. Writing this and the changelog was almost as troublesome (might offload that to AI as well).

Feel free to use this modified mod however (it was really enlightening on how to mod the game, I dived in with zero experience), just credit the original owner of the mod.

a really convoluted quest
I'm assuming this refers to that nonsense in the apartments. Is there a walkthrough for this? 'Cuz it makes little sense to me and honestly is kind of a game turn-off to me (but Beris, Mizuko, and Kotone make me come running back every time).

I wrote a quick Walkthrough of the apartment stuff, added it to the file I share for this game on my blog as well, but here it is in brief:

Thanks for the praise! Don't underestimate the scope of the whole Adventure Apartments thing, though. Like, it ended up being a lot, which is why it ate so much of the time dedicated to the latest major update.

Still, I do my best to contribute both on the editing and writing front, so I'm happy to know that the efforts are enjoyed!

Thank you for that! Remaining committed to a project over the years is indeed no mean feat. I think that's something anyone can understand and relate with.

And yeah, as you say, if we were clearly in a situation where Threshold is plainly taking advantage of supporters and keeping them hostage with paywalled content, empty promises, and such, I'd very much understand the annoyance and criticism, but we're talking about a game that's always been free... So if anyone doesn't feel like funding the development efforts, all they need to do is wait... or just not play the game. Kinda baffling that even then, some people still find cause for complaint...

But anyway, thanks again! And yeah, it's definitely fun! Both to work on the project and to interact with the community and share the hype for monster girl lewds.

If you're interested in a walkthrough, there's a very good, convenient one .

The wiki in general has a lot of informative content, strategy guides, and walkthroughs for each character, so if you want to check something, it's a good resource to look up!

so i saved on this screen and cannot beat the Dark Perpetua fight, am i softlocked?

Check your Autosaves. The game is programmed to Autosave regularly, and the scene with Rika is coded to force an Autosave before you enter the Capital.

Of course, if you've been fighting Dark Perpetua and reloading a lot, all your Autosaves may have gotten overwritten in the process, in which case using a to make your character strong enough to defeat Dark Perpetua is probably your best remaining option.
