For anyone having issues with Bob's patcher, check if your file path has a [ or ] in it, or any other weird characters. Mine was decrypting then doing nothing, and it turns out it was cause I had a [ ] in the name of my Paradox folder, and after removing it it worked fine.
it really just dosent work for me i really dont know waht im doin anymore i give up im gonna wait until some kind samaritan gives the entir stuffs so i can just finally continue playing
Can you post it on pixel link or something, the game is too big for me to download

No disagreements here. I think my enjoyment of these games is at its highest when they aren't being serious, since all the speeches and ham-fisted morality or attempts to garner pity or sympathy activate my analytical side to start scrutinizing it. If the story starts trying to be serious, then I'll analyze it seriously. When it isn't taking itself seriously and leans into that aspect, it's much easier for me to get on board with that and just take the game for what it is. When it tries to be serious and un-serious back to back, it really muddles the water and is just frustrating to get through.
One of my favorite unexpected moments from Paradox was in the middle of a fight during a Talk action with either the Leech or Roper where they straight up tell you they prefer fat man because there's more to eat. Just fucking stopped me dead mid-fight cause I was laughing at that response.

Use "SetupVPN" extension. First, download up until quota is hit, then activate the SetupVPN extension (it might prompt you to disable "Edge Health Save" option that can interfere with its Proxy) and you should be able to continue to download the rest by the time you use up the free time on SetupVPN
Yup, next update should add more QoL changes for Ability switching, among other things.Are there more updates to come?
A further update in the future will develop the NG+ with uniquely-recruitable characters on NG+ and other stuff, and a further update will add the 4th Route

Probably mean translation ported from part 2 so you can play the early game in english or that the game folder contain a translation file inside a folder that you can use with mtool to speed up the translation from the tool.
Look at this post it you dont understand mtool. (You probably dont need to use the translation file because uchiha already did it before uploading his game.)

Thank you, plaese don't use Mega. They are dead now, as they limit downloads to 5gb and then block it completely.
Also can you include the recruit mod? I still haven't gotten it to work in 3.01.

Yeah my version should have the recruitement mod and the more than 99 item stack mod. As always they can be deleted if people want the basic experience.

so i managed by some miracle to download the mega link but when i opened the game it isnt translated for me on my current save???
did i miss something? i just grabbed my current save and slap it onto the current

I agree because this is likely true, but also disagree on the grounds that it's not a good argument.
First, i have to make the distinction that Mgqp isnt a 'casual and lighthearted' game, it's a lazy game, the difference being is that one series intentionally keeps things brief and ssurface level with the intention of creating an easy and engaging experience, the latter simply can't actually be bothered to elaborate on characters or world building, mgqp is the latter.
Second, mgqp being a lighthearted game that doesnt take itself too serioussly is wrong, hold on, it's probably true, but its wrong because it makes no sense.
A game, where the main plot is about saving the multiverse from a slow and grueling death because of entropy, where along the way you will be raped, killed, eaten, raped and eaten at the same time THEN killed, can hardly be called a 'non serious' game
Lastly, mgqp takes itself VERY seriously, almost too much, the level of angst some portions of the game have along with the general premise of part 3 along with some art pieces, while very well made, seem like something you'd come up with in highschool. I agree that the fact that mgqp doesn't take itself seriously is prob the intention, but it's actual nature is so contradictory that i can't fully agree with the statement.
All in all, the game's flaws can't be refuted like that, you can easily have a casual but good story, this game is hardly that, and personally, if you came from the original mgq trilogy and expected deep and profound plots, i agree, you're definitely an idiot in that case, none of the stuff that's been discussed in this thread is actually that deep either, which reflects the nature of the game.
