Currently playing the bobMTL latest version and occasionally if I fail running away from an enemy, this noMethodError pops up. Does anyone know whats the cause and if it can be fixed?
Obviously if theres nothing on it I'll just fight every mob instead of running but while trying to recruit all mobs being able to run would be nice

Does anyone know what job has ability Recruit Rate 5x and Steal rate 5x

I'm trying to recruit all Black Alice's in Black Mansion and steal the sword from Samurai Alice

recruit rate x5 chaos buster
steal rate x5 shadow pilferer

If you want rare items you are probably better off with
gurantedd steal shadow pilferer
complete plunder trismegistus
Both skills have downsides, but work better. All 3 are sealed jobs.

Because you picked a game version 3.0x and the merge for the content from part 1-2 is not perfect, so the battle quote where skiped because the way they are in the data in the previous part and in part 3 make them a pain in the ass to re do.
So play with a version 2.41 then merge your save folder inside a part 3 folder when you find the end of part 2 or don't care about them and play.

oh, so I have to download the game again. the quotes being so frequent and being in Japanese is a little off putting but doesn't worth downloading again, thanks for the reply (also do they have plan to add them in the future or not at all?)

Ho yeah the cheese is totaly broken. I added it because someone asked for it in order to change thing in the data. If you only want cheat like seed and xp you should use mtool. It's way better for this.

You might be in for a wait time, your choice (even though the MTL works well enough to understand the story).

That's what I'm doing now! Tho' Mtool is quite slow it still works good enough haha.

I'd recommend using MTool only briefly, to cheat in the required XP seeds you wish to have (keep in mind to use the item storage from the Maid in Pocket Castle, so that you can store up to 999+99 item stacks), then disable MTool and play using BobMTL (with the cheated items in the game already).

Since MTool is lagfest bonanza and crashes more often.

The problem is you guys have too many versions and mixed up files or pre-patched done with mixed up files

Indeed, in later versions of BobMTL, some of the patches are already in the game files (such as JobRace+ I think), adding them manually as well in the Patches folder can break the plugins (eg: doubles the menu entries for JobRace+, then crashes the game if you open any of them).

So take the Patches out to see if that fixes it.

Don't know but I think they are fully focus on little bug fix and mostly translating the content for part 3. So probably no.

yeah probably not. Only if you have a pretty powerfull phone and I have no idea how joiplay can interact with mtool.

It's exactly what I did, minus the storage part, which is pretty smart.

I mean, I get why Mtool is slow as fuck, it's a real time translation of over 70 MB of raw text... but if I can avoid the lag, I'll avoid the lag!

Well I reuploaded a new version more up to date of 3.04 with bob translation, my save, my mod folder, the bug with the starting screen version corrected, and mtool ready to launch if you want to cheat.
You can use the game.exe if you just want to play with bob translation but you can also launch the game with mtool if you want some cheat.

edit 2 : I also added the data with the cheese on the gofile if you want to try to use the cheese but make copy of your game and save folder before puting the data inside your game because lot of people reported that the translation break with this data cheese

I have 4 characters with Recruit rate 5x Ability
And their affinities is 100%

It's never 100%. And it's not cumulative. So no point using 5 time the ability.
If you don't manage to recruit them multiple time it's probably because they are not recruitable, or you have horrible luck, or you didn't increase your affinity with them to 100 by speaking with them multiple time during fight, using your skills.
If you find this mechanic boring or a waste of your time, you can use the mod that let you recruit every monster (that is recruitable) at the end of the fight without wasting time speaking with them.

Recruit rate abilities do not stack as for the formula when they can be recruited it is(usually if name is green with talk means they can be recruited(need to check exact thing but was a clear visual differenc)

(1/"Follower Denominator")*100% * Recruitment Rate * Affinity/100 = Final Chance

FD up-in the first can be 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,10,20 depending on character apparently

can’t say which enemy you are talking aboubt but assuming worst case

(1/20)*100%*5*100/100 or to put it simple 0.05*5*1 =0.25 aka 25% chance

can get it to 40% with ally invitation talk skill(there might be a stronger version of this as well haven’t personally looked but assuming not)

not sure what is shiki succubus.
No need for any decensore. They don't exist or are already applied.
You can use a IA for the art you like if you want but good luck with that.
Best cheat engine is mtool or you can put the game in easy and find the white rabbit inside the castle to get a key item that let you nerf the monster stats
