Trying to understand how to access chaos route.
Is it during the very start of ng+ of picking between Illias and Alice you get a third option? or is it in part 3 picking between the two factions there is a third option to select?

it happen during the big choice of part 3 of what faction you wanted to join.
After picking both faction (angel and monster) the 3rd choice become the chaos route.
You may have a bug where you can pick the 3rd choice and chaos route without doing the other routes but you should really do them, in order to enjoy the full picture of this parft 3.

I am playing version 3.06 of the game and I am on part 3. During part 3 I tired to use cheese cheat mod and it no longer works. It worked fine during the game early on. Did not change anything. It just stopped working at a certain point only on part 3 during the 3rd way. Does anyone know how to fix it or what is going on?

For me its really simple: i am a big fan of the old Final Fantasy games (especially FF3 and FF5)
To say it in overall this game has everything i absolutely love: funny scenes, an awesome story so far, CUSTOMABLE JOB SYSTEM, a big amount of characters to recruit and to play with and so on...

Characters, Story, job and recruit system, the world(and world building) and OST.
I really like the details of coming back on villages/towns and see the world progression together with our adventure.
I don't like random encounter system on most games, but after "No Encounter Ability" its ok for me, i can ignore fights or fight when i want. For the game random encounter its good cause there's so much corridors/narrow paths, 30 minutes of LoC and you want random encounter system again.
For part 3, I would really like each Catastrophe to have its own OST. It's a waste not to fight World Drown with its own OST.

I just finished the game, so perfect time to talk about it. I remember back when we only had part 1, when I was still in high-school or just went into college. This old gem perfectly summed up our feelings about the game back then:

I didn't like it much either, a lot of copied and pasted scenes, certain fan favourites missing etc. But man, part 3 was a long wait but am I glad they didn't rush it. There are still things I dont like. I wished they remade some scenes just for paradox, or added more scenes for some of my favourite girls rather than just reusing scenes from the OG series. But was it a good game? Absolutely.

I never got to play the final fantasies series because I grew up broke, but I did play a lot of flash games inspired by them, and love JRPG's in general. And what better than a JRPG with a lot of cute girls with sex scenes? I do hope some of the scenes which results in pregnancy or you being forced to marry them will actually hold up in the golden route that will be coming out.

If you really enjoy the story, and haven't already, I would suggest checking out the original series. It's more of a VN, but also very story intense. In a different way than paradox.

You can't even imagine how you hit the target by making such a comparison. So for me, MGQ Paradox with its engine and game mechanics, as well as the role-playing system, reminded me very much of my favorite game series from Square. This is especially similar to Final Fantasy 4, which was released a long time ago on the SNES. The third part of Paradox has become like a portal to the past, a window to a Fairy World, a rabbit hole for Alice, leading to Wonderland. This game left a very pleasant impression. Rarely did any of the games give such an impression.

Sadly no we have to wait till the next update
Also i cleared main story
But oh boy that was reeeeeaaaally hard

Anyways the reward is totally worth it i like chaos :3

I'm on third route on paradox difficulty and I've been getting by with just using what seems relevant for more difficult fights until now on top of making use of conditionals/slayer skills. Otherwise I haven't delved too deep into trying to min max my dps or build around strats (other than using the three seraphim in Ilias route with agi down+stigmata to buff Eden and Luci's dps). Anyways, up until now, phys has served so well I haven't bothered with mag at all but the first difficult encounter on thirs route has high phys reflect and evasion. Basically all my dps are rendered useless because even when I try to focus on enemy weakness (dark) I'm just not putting out enough damage. I'm building a psycho/dark/pleasure dmg+pleasure ailment team with the succubus sisters and Black Alice which should solve the immediate issue but in case the next difficult encounter renders this comp useless I'd like to know if there is any way around reflect/mag reflect?

I did go for chaos dmg builds
Especially if you use carnage/eternal/demise you should be fine
Problem is you will need to get the Jobs/Races for it

the chaos route guide should have them all.

Kudos to you since i had to look for a good route to tackle chaos route

You should check his guide maybe it will help a lil bit

before part 3 is still the same and for part 3 before chaos route you can follow the map or ask Amira.
