In the systems of the PC. If you're on Windows, its in the Control Panel. Under clock and region, change time/date/region. Then under that, its in the Administrative tab, where you can "change language for non-unicode programs". Set that to Japanese. You'll still need to re-extract the game (and probably restart your PC), since the version you've already extracted used the wrong forumla and corrupted the game files.

That's, uh... not how that works. Every japanese character has been corrupted. Just changing the game folder *might* make the game launch, but every time the game makes a call for resources, it will fail to find them due to not having a proper name. And unless you want to maunally rename 6GB of resources and their call functions, that's not gonna work.
Translator++ and MTOOL are both options, going off of this thread, if you wanna look into that.
You are wrong , that error is just error if you did not change game folder name, it is mentioned on the translation blog to change the name of the folder. You do not have to change locale of windows to play this game for any of the parts.
The file character corruption you describe if you did not switch encoding for your zip when extracting.
The author has updated a version, but the problem is still not completely solved. It is about 3 am in the author's area. The author said he will continue to deal with it, believe him. I can't hold on any longer, so I'm going to sleep.

well i finally finished the demo since i still was playing on part 2 picked illias since that who i was using in part 2 but im stuck got teleported to angel world i talked to everyone can't leave from the main entrance there a teleport on the left clicking on it says its not active so im stuck here no idea what to do.
