The game worked, it's just that it doesn't detect the old save files i played before part 3 released, so I can't continue my progress from part 2 and i have to start a new game

Well the long story is that the only "human" translation that is ok with the first page come from arzor and his team. But this translation is, at this point in time, only a merge for the translation of part 1-2 inside part 3. So no english translation of part 3. (but the first page is clearly lagging in terms of the version of the game)

If you want english translation you need to use machine translation with translater like mtool.
Early on mtool was the best source for translation because someone posted a file with a pre translated story for part 3 so you didn't have to use a lenghty process to play the game. I personally played part 3 from start to finish with mtool translation. The translation was pretty "meh" with a lot of gender error, interface error, name error. But it was playable.

Later we all got interested by the work of someone named bob serious who worked on some mtl translation and corrected the content manualy to have a more accurate and clean version of the game. His work comes from a discord where a bigger community is playing/talking about the game. I encourage you to go there if you want advices and answers (or to thx bob and the helper for their work).
Recently, Bob gave us the most up to date version of his work for part 3.04 that is the most recent version of the game.
This version is the most user friendly because mtool need a special process where the translation is loaded and the data of the entire game is loaded inside mtool every time you launch the game so every time you need to wait 3-4 mns on the starting screen waiting for this process before playing.
Bob mtl doesn't have this process and can launch in 10s by just clicking on the .exe file.

At the end of the day it's a choice between a "meh" translation with mtool but with the most powerfull cheat engine I have seen on the market that can edit the game in real time and give you access to a lot of data and cheat or a "cleaner" human translation that is more stable and friendly to use.

the mtool version is named : MGQParadox3.04 with mtool(+save+mod.).rar
(don't look at the version of the top left side of the starting screen, it's a visual bug, the version of these link are 3.04)

I encourage you to play with the bob translation for most of the content and only use mtool if you really want to cheat in order to multiply xp or add item in your inventory.
Since 3.02 the dev has given us an option to cheat the monster stat to make them so low that you can one shot most of the content of the game (with an item called rulers rules that you can access in your castle if you put the game in the easy difficulty), so cheating is becoming less important.

Maybe your save got corrupted at some point. It's pretty rare because I didn't see a lot of people talking about this problem. I know it's not the best solution, but you can always pick my save folder and play from save 16 it's just before the big choice that led to the content of part 3.

Thank you, it's kinda sad if it's really corrupted though, hindred hours of grinding goes to nothing..., but it seems possible because I haven't played it for months, thanks again for the save file

Hi man, i downloaded the 3.04 file of yours and i was puzzled about how much of the part 3 has been translated in that? I'm pretty new to paradox and i would like to start the game knowing from start to finish it's translated in english, but i've seen on the reddit that the translation isn't complete? How much of it would you say is translated and will i be able to update the translation whenever a new version of it will be available without losing my saves? Thanks in advance!

Well you have 2 ways to play this. You can pick a game version 2.41 on this link (

) and play the start of the game until the start of part 3 in full human english from a team of translator.
Then after that you can transfer your save folder inside the game folder 3.04 that you grabbed on my gofile and continue to play. Or you can play directly from the exe of part 3 and start from the beginning but some of the content of part 1-2 are still not merged inside the game (they are really minor thing like combat dialogue). In my opinion transfering your save from a folder 2.41 to 3.04 is probably the better experience.

Part 3 is fully mtl (as machine translated, so IA translation), but the bob version is corrected by a human hand so less strange content like wrong he/she, or interface bug.
If you want a fully human translation, you can probably wait 1 year and come back here.
In my opinion the mtl from bob is clearly ok enough for me to enjoy the content. I even played the game with another version of the translation with a worst translation (as no human correction) and I just enjoyed the flow and smiled when someone called Luka a She.

Yeah it's strange, but I can assure you that my save has probably more stuff that you can have grinded if you did it without cheats. So you lost the sentimental link, but at least you have pretty much anything ready to go for a cruise on the 2 first route.

Yeah mtool as not the best track record with anti-virus. 3 people I trust with this confirmed to me that's a false positive. You can always only use bob mtl version if you don't want to take any chance but for me I trusted these people.

wow... I don't know what to say. Never happened to me or anyone I know that is using mtool. Probably better to stay on the bob mtl and use other way to cheat, like cheat engine or save editor.

I’m using MTool and only problem I’ve had is during extended play it eventually closes itself.

Quick question I'm n my first playthrough I took alice and I'm on the dark goddess route. I was wondering if there is a way to build lime to be able to fight at the point I'm at. I'm at grand noah in heaven I just have her opening treasure chest for me I want her to be more then utility.

Her trait is geared towards Slime, throwing and boomerang right? You wanna get her to ultimate colony life form. She wants slime strike since she deals double damage to slimed targets with throwing skills. She wants to go down the informant and ranger classes. Throwing scales off of atk and dex so she wants to go down both Hunter and warrior lines for the Dex+ and Atk+. Remember she also can access Beast and Elf thru prom after part 2.

Thanks for the answer brother; i'll follow your advice by playing first 2 parts on 2.4 and then once i'll finish part 2 i'll transfer save to the newest translated v3 version!

In my opinion, if you hadn't done a Ilias run you should probably try it before doing her route because her character development is very cool. If you already done it before just skip to the big choice.
