ok so apparently it has to do with the Game.rgss3a file itself, any idea how/what to fix in this case ?

Holy crap, I forgot how the castle collab was ridiculously terrible.

It worked after awhile, thanks. Question, my save currently had both Ilias and Alice, probably added via cheese long time ago from part 1. It had upsides like seeing both characters' pov of events and dialogues, but sometimes certain events happen favoring the wrong side. I believe I picked Ilias's route but Alice route got chosen when I tried to revive lucifina and michaela for instance, thus cannot revive. Reckon this might cause any issue in part 3? I only just finished part 2.

Mhhh yeah strange bug. I tried it and it doesn't work in the most up to date version but it work in the first version of 3.04 so you can download the MGQ3.04 bob MTL version.rar on the gofile and the F5-F6 should work.
You don't miss new content but the translation should be a little worse. Or try transfering the Game.rgss3a from one to the other and see if it work.

I think the option only open in the post game with a wardrobe on the left side of the castle entrance lobby. Not sure if you unlock this before the endgame.

Yeah should be the same.
Inside the castle the interactions are some little fun dialogue between 2 monster before you can interact with the monster. Some monster have a list of 2-3 monster that can interact with them and I think the choice of monster is mostly random.
Outside the castle the interactions are limited to 1 or 2 guy most of the time and they speak in connection with current events

In part 3 they kick these route exclusive monster from your team/castle because they can't follow you on this route/road, so no problem on this front, and in chaos route they all re-join one by one during some mission that you do.

Metal Man Thank you, I am guessing that item becomes pretty useful in the mid to late game. I have been bottle necked on a few characters because I've already maxed out all the races they can become. Namely Ilias, Promestein, Hild, The Pope, Saki, Luka, and a few others.

Got some Saves for the game (one with P2 Ilias route done, fresh before Collab Event and then Time Loop; another one with everything done for Time Loop except its ending (so that you can replay its scenes), on my blogpost for the game

Thanks for taking your time to look into it, glad to know that it atleast isn't a me problem. Was going insane trying to figure out if i fucked something up.
Downloaded the version you suggested and tried it out and yes, the F5 and F6 work on that one. Though switching out the Game.rgss3a file into the bugged version doesn't work. It gives a Script reading error for the .old file and removing the .old, while actually making the game start up, also removes the F5 and F6 functionality again.
Guess I'll keep working with the 3.04 bob MTL from here on out. Again thanks for taking your time on this and providing the versions for people.
Anyone have a link to the entire thing with a current TL/100%'d because the one click patcher constantly errors out because of some error involving the appdata folder.
There's also a bazillion MTL/Mods/Versions which make it infinitely more complicated, wish the OP updated to show what's going on.

What did you mean 2nd playthrough ? You can do it in post ending of the main story.

Thank you so much. I absolutely despise HAVING to ask since I usually can do almost everything on my own but I've been at this for literal months in my off time trying to get everything properly patched correctly. I appreciate you so much.
The game is made to use the new game + more than once, that is, you have to do it in its entirety more than once. For example, I started playing when there was only part 1. I did Alice's route and then I had to do Ilias's, and in fact, I did a second route with Alice because I lacked things to get. This is how you get both Lucia and Lily. With part 2 you had to do the same to get all the characters, professions and items, and now with part three more of the same, with the difference that now you can start from the "big decision" instead of the beginning of the game. In part 3 you also have to do Alice's route, Ilias' route and finally the Chaos route, and in fact, after finishing the Chaos route you see that there will be a new route that is not yet implemented.
If it is your first game, I would recommend you go to the end trying to get everything possible on the route you started, and when you finish it, the new game + start it from the beginning again to get all the things that your decisions made impossible. Afterwards you can do Chaos calmly, completely, the new game + you continue with the characters you obtained, their items, levels, etc. The fights are a second unless you want to turn up the difficulty mode for more entertainment.
