Every boss seems to one shot me in the chaos route on normal difficulty, im at an average of lvl 200 on my characters, gems and ability as optimal as possible, a minimum of 100k defense and 200k hp on all (lowest is 200k on lucifina, highest is almost 2 million). I hardly get to use any of the characters I've built because Goopshit The Worldvorer decided to use Megafart thrice in a row and kill my entire cast minus Luka and Erubetie with just the first wave. A lil annoying. Am I doing something wrong?

If you're referring to the 16 catastrophes... I'd put them off. The first and easiest is Singularity.
I got filtered hard by Magatsu-Omikami, after beating Dark Phoenix after a whole hour of battle. Left to do other plot stuff. Returned and one-shot Magatsu-Omikami.

Question: I've downloaded the game and opened the folder and all, haven't played it yet but I wanted to know what is the " tool " folder for, and then there's the " Remove Tool files from game.bat " ? And the " StartWithTool.bat " ? It feels important but I'm not sure and wanted to ask.

the bat files are for removing Mtool form the game or starting the game with Mtool

The only thing you are doing wrong is playing in normal difficulty during chaos route without grinding lvl 20 in all the last job and using haste ability on your main dmg dealer. Play in easy with the ruler's ruler that you get from white rabbit in your castle when you are on easy or grind 30h.
The dev know about this difficulty spike so they implemented the ruler's ruler in the game for people who don't want the grind and ultra optimisation needed during chaos route.

Mtool is a powerfull cheat engine that let you cheat a lot of thing like xp, or item in your inventory. Before bob translation mtool was also used as the main translation tool for the game. I finished the game with it this way. I left it in the game folder for people to use if they want to cheat item that they don't want to grind like the one needed for some quest at the end of the game, or to skip a bug that can happen in the last dungeon of the game where you are locked behind some laser and need to use the noclip fonction from mtool to go through.
If you don't have the bug and don't need cheat you can skip using it.

If you want to cheat, mtool can be a litle tricky to use so follow this guide.

No the fort where the ants race invaded and in chaos route the plant and slime race are. Close to the town full of skulls.
