Has anyone found all Chaos route race changes? I'm fairly sure there should be a way to make someone a Doll without being a Zombie (or at least a way to make zombies somehow) but I haven't found anything so far. Also there's a NPC who teases an Angel race change but I haven't found it either.

Extract it to its own folder. Do not overwrite anything. The 8.2 gigs you just downloaded are a full, working copy of Paradox 3.06 with 99% translated.

Run the game, make sure it works. If you're running a windows PC, it should. If you've got old saves, make a backup of the save folder, and copy your old one into the new mgq folder.

Hell, you can just play now if you want. But, to translate some subquest stuff in chapter 3...

Next, download this. the '_Tiny Improvs BOBmtl with patcher 0.17 (for 3.06)' file from here.

Now, in the MGQ game folder, delete the 'one click patcher' and 'patch' folders.

Now extract the _Tiny Improvs BOBmtl with patcher 0.17 (for 3.06) so ITS one-click patcher folder is there.

In the one click folder, run "Start_Patch [52AE0DFB]" and press 2.

Wait.

Once it's reported it's done, run the game again.

On a win 11 PC, if you follow all of these steps, you will end up with a working game. I literally did it as I was writing this just to test. If you don't, either you've done something wrong, or you've got some individual compatibility issue that none of us are going to be able to help with, probably at all, but especially if all you say is 'it didn't work.'

Questions and answers.

Is this the full game?
Yes. This is a full and complete version of the game with all assets. You can play through from the start of part 1 all the way to the end of part 3 as of the 3.06 patch.

How much is translated?
All of it. However, the quality varies. All of parts 1 and 2 are human translation from the fan translation team. However, their part 3 translation isn't done yet, so after a certain point in part 3 it switches to human edited MTL.

MTL? Where and how bad?
As far as I can tell, from around the start of the Sabasa region on Alice's route, and attacking Kannad at Grand Noah on the Illias route. The whole third route is MTL. Said MTL has been given an editing pass by a human and is perfectly understandable if you pay attention. It was done with a fair amount of care.

Saves from previous versions should be compatable. Just copy over your save folder.

Mods?
In these instructions I have you delete the patch folder that contains the mods before repatching. This is because mods for an older version of the game can cause crashes and there doesn't seem to be any version numbering. There are a few useable mods in the second gofile link, the one for the one click patcher. Look in the folder at the bottom.

quick question, i just downloaded 3.06 and after playing a little i notice i was recruiting monsters on the first encounter, how to turn it off?

Improvements over the first pack are as follows:

-PPI was set to 4x the original DPI in Gigapixel. This optimized the AI, and allowed the image files to be processed twice without introducing new issues. They went through the Low Res AI model before going through the Art & CG model. V1 used the default 300 PPI, causing a second pass to introduce more issues than it solved. Colors pop even more now and pixelation is further reduced. It's still not perfect. Only so much can be done with the low resolution used by VX Ace.

-Issues with shadows have been fixed. The AI turned certain semi-transparencies (Galda's shadow, the sight in caves, a couple enemies) completely black. These now work properly.

Nevermind, I finally found both: the ghost ship during Constance's quest gives you Demi-Human->Zombie and Promestein left a note to get Human->Angel on Mt Saint Amos after Eden Trinity event.

Time to make Lazarus the Third Goddess~

Your course of actions: check Patch folder, if there's anything aside Patch.rb try temporarily remove those files from there and see if problem still persists. Next, check path to the game carefully: no "! ? % & $ @" etc. symbols, no japanese symbols.
"C:\Games\NormalGames\MGQP" - for example, no special symbols whatsoever.

Guys, I'm trying to get the "Sonya's Bizarre Adventure" achievement (so called Sonyaless run) + "Strike Freedom" on a NG+ and currently having the difficulties in Monte Carlo, where Lazarus could not be woken up without Sonya and the quest can not be continued without his letter. There are some strategy mentioned on the MGQ wiki regarding that specific situation - but I cannot understand what should be done.

You just can't do that specific sidequest, just like several others.

I used him against all 16 phenomena of ruin and he has pre-battle dialogue with all of them... mostly to complain about the insanity of still using him in part 3 but he was surprisingly motivated against Koron.

Of course by now he has like 6 forbidden races mastered so it's debateable if his claims of being a "regular human" still hold up...

Can anyone like give a link to a complied good folder for MGQ that has all 3 parts on it? (Im just asking so that I can probably play the game in full.)
