Thanks for the reply, I deleted both the Mod and Patch Folder. The Patch Folder was just mods so I really don't think that will cause any problem but the Mod folder had some Translation Files and maps that made me wonder if it really is going to be ok

Pretty much the reason why the on-the-fly patcher was made. No need to understand anything about patching the game or mess with stuff like locales or extract game files. Just download the patcher, extract it and also grab the latest translation files. Patcher then applies them to the game every time you start it.

You do not need to change locale for this game anyway.

Also patching can be automated in similar way you did it in your old 6.8 files with 5+ lines in either cmd .bat or powershell at minimum and without installing any programs like git, to get recent translation and patch right after

yes the patch folder is where the mods are and no mod is needed for the game to run.

On-the-fly does not require anything to be installed nor does it make any changes to the game files. Everything is done in memory by the game itself. Rename the Patch folder and game is back to 100% original.

don't delete this "mod folder" I'm not sure where this came from but only the content of the patch folder is the mods for this game.

There is a bug in v3.06 where you can´t withdraw equipment with gems equipped out your storage ones it is there which allways happens ones you begin the collab scenario.

In v3.05 it was still posible.

My question is if someone can patch the storage error or if the bugged equipment is lost until the next update?

and install IncreasedItemCap mod, it'd allow to withdraw the items. If you don't need increased cap, you can remove mod afterwards.

is illias temple ruins the best place to farm job/race exp? I believe I have access to everything since I just beat koron, but every place offers very little in terms of exp except illias temple ruins. Is farming money the faster method? I accumulated like 200 million from just playing the game but I blew like almost half of it buying seeds to raise a single forbidden job to max

its far from it. not only you do not get normal EXP, but you also like half the job exp than in illias temple ruins

yeah that might be pretty decent spot for part 1 and 2 but part 3 is just built different with its grinding demands... thats why a lot of people just use the rulers key to set the experience multiplier really high on easy difficulty I guess

as far as I know it doesn't consume it? when you use the cook skill in battle there's an effect, sure, but that is secondary to getting the actual food item
