Would anyone like to provide a save state where the final battle of the third route takes place, please? Been having tedious trouble in the final dungeon.

it has been quite a while. has it been fully translated?
no. most of us just play the partial translation. it drops in quality after a while because of the use of machine translation to fill the unstranslated parts, but its still understandable

Do you have troubles with opening laser barriers? If so, i'd recommend to update to the 3.06 version, this thread has links posted multiple times. After that you need to re-enter the final dungeon, and then rooms (small cave passages) with switches for those barriers would be passable.

its about 30 to 40% from what i've played (if we're only talking about part 3), and no, it doesn't matter, since you kinda play all routes anyways

thakn you satania, I usually play slowly so I hope the translation catches up to me by then, I also haven't really tried the machine translation at all, so if its passable maybe i wouldnt mind that either in the end

yeah that might be pretty decent spot for part 1 and 2 but part 3 is just built different with its grinding demands... thats why a lot of people just use the rulers key to set the experience multiplier really high on easy difficulty I guess
i think i just saved editie my stats at the time for fun in loc and still lost

Due to a hard drive failure on my PC i have lost all save data. Does anybody have save at the final boss fight or the last dungeon? I would be beyond grateful.

Greetings, even in part 1 for example the first miniboss (bunny slime) speaks a few sentences in japanese letters, 1 class description is also completely in japanese.
I wanted to ask if this is normal or a problem on my end. In my understanding the version on this site is allready translated and unfortunately i failed horribly trying to use the translation tools myself and couldn't test this.
Enlightenment would be appreciated

for the "official" human translation (with a next year goal for the full translation)

for the 100% machine translation corrected by human hand so pretty much good english for 99% of people who played it.

it depend where you find this version. The one on the first page is outdated and part 3 is not translated. You should probably pick the version 2.41 from my gofile if you want to play from the beginning with professional human translation then switch to a version 3.06 from the same gofile when the game say you need to wait for part 3 to continue playing.

I finally finished the game , my game clocks about 240 hours, but we can safely say 220 to 230 is more accurate due to afk time... I played on very hard at first but halfway through part 3 I lowered to hard and then normal at the final dungeon to just finish it.

Game is really straightforward up until part 3 where you get bitch slapped by the enemy health, forcing you to rethink your damage dealing strategies and warping you to heavily rely on conditional bonuses to deal acceptable damage. This was refreshing at first until chaos route happened, where enemy hp inflates tenfold from where you are accostumed in illias/alice route. But fine, I'm sure the game gives you the tools to deal with it. You quickly realize everyone that doesn't have a forbidden race is pretty useless due to the equipment stat inflation these provide.

Advancing through the chaos route felt like watching snail races, the amount of grinding the game expects you to do to become powerful enough to take on the bosses is unreal. It doesn't help that bosses pretty much are inmune to most status effects, and some are inmune to all. I probably grinded for 40 to 50 hours while watching youtube videos just to max out those jobs/races and get the passive bonuses to stack even more conditional bonuses and stat increases. I also disliked that I pretty much had to rethink my party cause you just don't know when the character you were using before chaos route is going to return.

The amount of items and equipment just becomes way too much in an attempt to give you more tools to become more powerful, and due to the engine limitations, going through the menus and figuring out where to craft stuff and such is a pain, at the end I had to pretty much go through my whole roster and equip gems one by one due to the final dungeon requiring 3 parties, scrolling trough hundreds of options each time, I really, really, really wanted a way to just "search" what I wanted without scrolling in an endless list, but alas.

In my conclusion, the game was great until the chaos route, where the story just falls off to just "go around killing everything that's trying to destroy the world (but you need to grind like a maniac cause they are too powerful to just rush)" and every system becomes bloated, specially with the addition of multiple gem slots in every equipment slot, up to having to choose 18!!! gems to equip per character.

If anyone reads this, and they are going to play the chaos route, just do your grinding in 100x exp multiplier using the ruler key in easy difficulty, you'll max your forbidden jobs (and races which there are a lot of) in half an hour maximum. Don't be stubborn like me. Cause the payoff just isn't worth it

Yeah. I had a similar experience but my pride wouldn't allow me to lower the difficulty. I just about quit the game like three separate times lol. Didn't expect Disgaea 6 levels of stat/level inflation with the last route. At the end, I grinded so hard that I was causally doing quadrillion levels of damage.
