It's always a bit disappointing when I see "monster girl" in a title, only to mainly see human girls with cat ears and a tail, like they're wearing some cheap halloween outfit. Surely they don't really count as "monster girls". Ah well.

Sometimes demi-human mixes in with monster girl, causing elves to fit the bill for monster girl as well.
Yeah, in the end I get the semantics and it's technically fitting, but when I'm on the look for monster girls, I'm looking for something that really pushes the envelope of what still looks human-enough that I find them attractive while not just looking like a human (and not exactly furry, either). Like, especially in a digital medium, it can literally look like anything, and there's very few creative instances that I see of this. Dryad Quest is a notable example, it's just a shame there's not more animation in that game.

Monster Girl Quest really pushes the monster part of monster girl for lots of them.
That's a good shout, but looking at the screenshots it looks like each girl uses a different art style, with varying levels of quality.
Looks like a 3D game to me, 3DCG is pre-rendered, learn the bloody difference people!
