For what purpose? (Why is the hotel far away from everything?)Later it will be explained in the story that it's placed next to the Border. The line between humans and the unknown (monstergirls).
Your Uncle was the one to set it up there. You'll have to get close to the girls to find out it's true purpose. For what purpose? (Why is the hotel far away from everything?)
Example: How does it stay in business if it is far from everything?
But it is a hotel? Not a mansion, or a castle?Your Uncle was the one to set it up there. You'll have to get close to the girls to find out it's true purpose.
(I don't want to spoil the story)
I get your point. It is a hotel within the context of the game's world, specifically for monsters and with reasons explained soon in the story. It will be a bit different than modern hotels systems like Harem Hotel. But it is a hotel? Not a mansion, or a castle?
So it's like an extended stay hotel, or a rental house?I get your point. It is a hotel within the context of the game's world, specifically for monsters and with reasons explained soon in the story. It will be a bit different than modern hotels systems like Harem Hotel.
Hope that clears things!
The first one could be close. Again, I don't want to spoil it yet. There's a good reason why your Uncle (the family's black sheep) was so interested in the Border. Thus creating this Hotel according to his ideas. So it's like an extended stay hotel, or a rental house?
So good to see you again! I'll try to shed light on the points you made as concise as possible since I'm on mobile:Willing to give it another shot but ehhh

Honestly the game continues to be functionally a clunky mess and I'm not really sure if its worth the effort at this point. I appreciate some of the fixes that were implemented like no longer limiting the horizontal axis when turning and making the doors actually responsive. However there's still remnants of issues caused by the mouse coming up, sound effects don't have their own options still, severe lack of content making it not worth coming back to, and overall the game just continues to play weird with the way the controls are set up intentionally. Is it supposed to be an action game? An interactable visual novel? What really is the direction this game is supposed to be taking?
Laundry room. I'll hint at it more in Lilith's dialogue next update.i might be blind, but i cant find the ball to start the minigame
Great to hear that. Again, no problem if you decide to skip next update.I might just stick around if only because I appreciate the activity which a lot of developers lack. It's nice knowing when feedback is actively listened to and what not. That said a few followups.
Perhaps make the ball a different color like blue or red? I get that its likely made from leather or something but honestly I never would have guessed that was a ball from the distance of the room. With no other items to pick up or interact with I honestly thought that it was a bag or the bottom of a basket or something. If you never mentioned the laundry room I would have never guessed. Would seem interactable if it stuck out more.
Furthermore most of the "skip" buttons should probably be renamed to "next" or "end scene" to indicate when it actually ends and doesn't. Feels like the game bugs out when it just suddenly tells you to skip in the middle of a scene when it really just means next or in other cases really is just the end of the scene.
As for the broom minigame, I literally was stuck, like, completely in place. Pausing and escape didn't unstick because I was just stuck maybe in the wall or the floor, something. I wasn't actually interacting with anything because I had completed cleaning and the usual text box that automatically skips came up and I just couldn't move from that corner. Although not sure if I can replicate it, might be worth keeping an ear out to see if anyone else reports getting stuck somewhere or perhaps in the same spot. I've been avoiding cleaning that spot last just because.
Also perhaps its called Monster Girl Hotel because the player wants to turn it into a hotel? Its something to consider at the very least.
Doesn't have to be bright, could be like a dull red or blue as if it was dyed leather, just something that sticks out from all the brown in the corner of the laundry room. Otherwise yeah, a hint would fix it regardless of a color change because just being told "find my ball" with nothing to go off of is a bit asinine. I spent a good 8 or 9 times looking straight down in the grass because I thought had to find the ball while initiating the play session so I kept failing it since the minigame fails if you stray too far. Maybe make it where you cant select to play if you haven't found the ball? Made me feel like finding the ball was part of the playing part with Lilith since it would let me start every time despite not having what was needed.Indeed, I'll have to make it more clear where the ball could be. We didn't at first want to use a bright colour since it wouldn't make much sense to find plastic in a medieval-like setting, but function follows form this time I guess.
I just forgot the S honestly but yeah, I've had similar questions about why its called hotel when its a mansion and what not. The whole concept kind of gives me an idea about what the story could be personally, assuming the game is taking the direction of unifying humans and monsters in mutual understanding through this location, if only for the local area. And lastly, you mean without the S in Girls or becuase of previous comments? We have a story planned out which ties into the name of the game, however the blessing in disguise of early development is we can overhaul it with minimum changes to what's already in-game.
We wouldn't be surprised at all if by speaking with the community here, patrons and Discord users we find a new, better fitring story to tell.
Gotcha. I'll check the dialogue and have D tweak tye ball's materials a bit.Doesn't have to be bright, could be like a dull red or blue as if it was dyed leather, just something that sticks out from all the brown in the corner of the laundry room. Hi!It's not necessary but it would be nice for there to be a news section in the main screen. After the first soup stirring scene, I didn't know if there was more so I kept sweeping only for nothing to happen after.
Lastly I really had no clue what was going on with the spider monster event, it would be nice if there were more hints with it
