Dunno if you already know about Oh So Hero! but it's a really high quality one that (so far) has received constant care and updates. It's *super* furry though, so may not be your thing.

True. They don't approve a subforum for gay games and says gay tags are enough. But in truth they prolly think gay games aren't developed much so creating a subforum might be a waste of time. I just raised this topic since I hate people commenting on a clearly gay tagged game just to complain that the game has potential but was wasted on gay genre.

In my experience, and trust me there's a lot, probably way too much honestly, gay games are hard to come by. Or rather gay games that aren't bloody visual novels or text-based... Gay furry games even more so, which is ironic considering a lot of the more popular stuff in that is gay, but that's a different topic entirely. Point is, you wanna see something that isn't just a still image and "sexual acts described like this".

In most cases, gay games tend to be terrible, unappealing or good, but the good is greatly outweighed by the other two. Plus, that gay tag isn't very reliable, sometimes there's a little gay in it but it mostly focuses on straights (it can happen the other way around, but it's not as common). I can't tell you the amount of times I've found porn that's just horrifying to look at. Hell, I paid for one on Steam! Next thing I know, I've got prolapse and sounding porn... Urgh....

I'd honestly argue that a subforum is needed, I'm honestly sick of seeing Hentai girls on here when looking for decent stuff. And, if you see my signature, why do you think I have that? XD Racist comments over things that don't even contain black or white people (e.g. Taurens and Night Elves), whining that a gay animation isn't straight, I've seen people bitch over nothing, so I get your point.

Sorry if I rambled on nonsensically, it's been a long three days so my brain's a bit bleh.

No matter what, some people just wanna bitch 'n' moan. these people will stand in a line that clearly says "plain bread only" for hours and be pissed that they weren't served toast. The ones that really piss me off the most are those that stumble onto say yaoi anime or hentai and then go all "oh i have nothing against gay people, i'm just not interested in this kind of shit"
like why must they tell us. they could've just left quietly. it like accidentally walking into a gay bar and instead of just leaving when you realize you are in the wrong place, you go up to the karaoke machine, grab the microphone and say to everyone "i have i nothing against y'all i just walked in here by accident" so annoying.

Soooo much this, it's like bro are you serious? There are straight games for D A Y S on here.

You can't step a cm in any direction without tripping over some 2D pussy, some REALLY good games too with it that are fun to play even besides the lewd content.
It really gets on my tits when someone says I wish it was straight, it's like how would you feel if I went in every straight hentai game thread and complained it wasn't gay? You'd be annoyed wouldn't you? Even though at least I'd have more of a reason to complain.

I'm bi with a strong preference for males to the point where in practice I'm gay but I don't mind looking at some girls but damn would I love more traps/femboys/general gay content. I wish the people complaining could understand what it's like to NOT have near infinite quality content to digest with your taste in mind.

September Build, Prototype 0.3

Hey everyone, the new build is here! This month I wanted to tackle a few issues with the underlying systems in the game which unfortunately took a bit longer than expected. The good news is the game should behave a bit better barring any bugs that I might have missed. Also the game now saves your progress automatically and you can now continue the game where you left off. Just keep in mind that this is a preliminary implementation and will go through some changes when the game exits the prototype phase.

After working out the majority of the game breaking bugs I got around to adding two new scenes. First was the final town morning scene, where the protagonist visits the armor shop to buy new gear. I still want to add some polish to these morning scenes but that will come a bit later. Secondly, the slime surrender scene has been expanded to include Ash after he joins the party. He's not quite ready to reveal what's actually in his magic spell book but I expect it will play a larger role in the future.

Monster Souls' Patreon anniversary is coming up next month! It's hard to believe we are already nearing a year but I'm feeling very confident in the state of the game and I'm excited for what's to come. I'll try to write up a more detailed development progress report tomorrow and detail what I'm thinking for October and beyond.

I'm not sure about that. I feel like people just skip over bad looking games without checking whether there's gay content in it. Also, most of them seem to be bara and have the same art style, which is a little off-putting.

Also I couldn't find a button for inventory or where all the loot is stored (and where you're supposed to find your health bar mid battle and all that). I would prefer some more effeminate characters (cuz bara is not my thing) and I don't really like MC, but hey, it already shows promise. On the bright side, it's not some furry crap again, so, I think, most people should be happy.

It's also hilariously enough the first comment in this thread, saying it's "sad" the game doesn't feature a female MC (it does say the art is good though and wishes luck to the dev, but still). I get that some people don't like gay content and that's fine but Jesus Christ this is getting ridiculous.

This is nicely crafted visually. The one sex scene so far was done with subtlety and I found it erotic and even a little romantic. Far too early to judge overall game play, but what is there so far appeals to me.
