Also, we're talking about a game that makes 16,5k/month MINIMUM...

Okay, I stand corrected, they may not be paying, they probably be just followers.
It would actually be crazy if the Adult Games Industry would be pulling those kind of numbers. But sadly no, truth is only the biggest games like Summertime Saga and BADIK make that amount of money.
The rest of the creators make it rather for the love of the game, than for money. Since its so hard to get exposure and support, and since most games are available for free anyway.
And as it was already correctly identified followers isn't the same as paying members.

Did you happen to play the steam demo before downloading this here?
No I had version 4.something I think that I downloaded almost a year back from here not from steam, and I downloaded the current version here from the pixeldrain link. Should I download it from steam ?
Edit: There was a problem with steam, it's fixed now, thanks anyway.

And also let me add:

1. Mad respect for creators like Banana Cream Games, who are making those passion projects.
2. One can envision a world where the Adult Games Industry makes a breakthrough into mainstream culture. Similar to how smut literature for women made a breakthrough into the mainstream, I mean works like Fifty Shades of Grey, A Court of Thorns and Roses, or Fourth Wing, which became all the rage among women readers. That would be cool for this community or interesting to see.

Here I am quite sure you're wrong. There's many games that truly make those numbers and even bigger.

I have choosen to calm things down with Caleb instead of attack him (a diplomatic approach)... it will change something in the game plot/scenes?
Only minor things so far :)

As it holds true in all markets, the 1% make half of all the money in the space. Being early, consistent, having quality, all help get you there.
Sometimes life gets in the way. While many games make over a dozen thousand a month on patreon, many more have made mind boggling bank on Steam.
There's games that don't break 200 paid subs on Patreon that go on to making 50k in a year on Steam.
And there's games that have 2k paid members on patreon that made $500k- 1kk on Steam.
So there's quite a lot of success to be had if you have a good product (and marketing).
Btw, thank you for the well-written review!

Just finished the last update. Good stuff. I see the next update is soon.

But does anyone have an idea of how long it'll take for the game to be completed, at the current rate of development?

The story's interesting enough, so I'd rather play the finished game when it comes out. Too long between updates and I end up forgetting most of the story.

Sure, Moonripple should be completed between 6/7 months

Given how long updates take that means after the next one drops relatively soon there will only be about 2 more updates after that till it's finished.. seems like it could be quite an abrupt ending.

Maybe it's his wish, that this game will be finished in that period... don't think so...so much potential would be wasted. Maybe a steam release in that time, but not "finished" content wise.

He has said he's eager to finish this one to be able to move on with other ideas.

I think that's fine. Why is there always an incessant need to make games longer than they need to be.

Hi, well is understandable when something is good you want the content to expand and improve and this one can have so many possibilities and variables to expand the story without feeling stretched and over exploited but yes the other face of the coin is all good things have an end but i can understand the concern of people of the story ending rashly

The Dev said he will do a good work finishing the story so we just need to wait and see.

I understand that the game is now crap on Steam. When will it be added? It will be added and released by the end of this year. When the game is finished and it will be released on Steam, okay, I'll have to remove it from my wishlist for now, and add it to the Protos bookmarks. That's it.
