That why i like him too , he is safe to be around , shy & ask you first like a true friend , so he gives MC & Suzie (players as well) a step forward to push more boundaries with others in future (that how i see it & that why he was the first one to get BJ in my playthrough).

I searched for your posts because of the 1star review you left (which was unnecessary).
If you tagged me, I'd have seen your post and helped you resolve the issue sooner.
You're the only one so far that has said they had such a bug.
My guess is that somehow, the persistent files that renpy creates are unmodifiable by the game.
Try these two:
First, run the game with an elevated role (as admin on windows, sudo on linux), and try changing the variable again
If this one doesn't work, then...
...delete the persistent files that store those variables, run game again:
Locations are in:
Windows: %APPDATA%\RenPy\Moonripple_Lake-69420
Macintosh: $HOME/Library/RenPy/Moonripple_Lake-69420
Linux: $HOME/.renpy/Moonripple_Lake-69420Might also be stored in the game folder itself, so look for 'persistent' there too.
This will sadly reset the polaroids you found as well (but you can unlock all of them at once in the gallery with the password).
If this works, and you can toggle the femboy variable state now, you should start a new game just to set all the variables at the beginning (jumpscares, femboys, names), then you can probably load your saves without issues.

Ep7 will follow shortly after, hopefully. I intend to release it in smaller chunks spaced by weeks, not months.So if you wait until end of Jan/start of Feb, you could get the first part of ep7 too.
I'm going to play it again to refresh my memory of the game, haha. If I'm not mistaken, I didn't get hooked on it because of the lack of content yet. No offense, but the models really caught my eye.
ive replayed the game a few times myself for the same reason (models) but also the good writing around the teasing and corruption.

I like that there is a wide variety of content on this site, and I would never tell anyone what they should or shouldn't have as a fetish (to a point). But in recent years I've felt a push (everywhere) toward not just tolerance of certain ideas, but almost a sort of "required sampling". It was unfair of me to default to that being the case here, and I will absolutely adjust my rating (which appears to be missing...). I also didn't/don't understand the "tagging" system here yet, to have called your attention to the issue sooner. I have things to learn.
I started by running as admin. I then deleted the game and re-downloaded, neither of which fixed the problem. I then deleted the appdata/moonripple folder, as well as 'persistent' file in the game folder like you said. That reset everything in the options menu, but still wouldn't allow the access to those switches. And once again, even choosing the options to turn those features off during the tutorial did nothing, so I don't necessarily belief this was a menu/switch issue. Finally, I deleted everything, redownloaded, and that fixed the problem. So obviously there was a non-descript settings file somewhere in the game folder that could transfer it's data to exist independently in either location despite the other being deleted, but I'll admit my experience with coding is rudimentary at best.

No worries, I just wanted to help out with your issue and change your mind.
That's so weird. I think one of the persistent files was set to read-only or something and didn't allow anything to be modified. That's the only explanation I can come up with.
Also, I definitely don't want to push anyone to like dick haha.

Don't try to make sense of it. You could say that, in general, moderator tags (the ones used in the search engine) are used more as warnings about content than as actual guides on what the game is about. So you get a futa/trans tag even if your game has a single optional scene where a dick is seen attached to a chick. And if there's any contact between said dick and a male protagonist, there's a clear tendency to require the gay tag as well. As a result, people who actually look for games that focus on those subjects will be like looking for a needle in a hay stack - and also whine about it in threads. Still, it's like this by user demand. People tend to be offended if they even open a page that contains content they don't approve of, and blame the lack of tags for not filtering it out.
There's another thread where you can read about and suggest new tags, but it's been years and nothing came out of it, probably because you could add as many tags as you wanted, to the point of making the system unwieldy, and still not discriminating enough to most people. Don't think the current state of things is perfect, but also don't think it can be greatly improved.
Reading the thread you're already doing the best you can do to try and get a sense of what there is or isn't in the game, what 's avoidable or not and things that just can't be reduced to tags. Sorry for the unsolicited advise!

December 20 is basically the last weekend before Christmas, so many devs probably want to get their final updates for the year out before they take Christmas and New Year's off.
Understandable... Every sunday now is family day.... If u skip that " not the best idea, to be honest" Christmas will be a must attend, no excuses allowed. Getting in Christmas mood while " idling" about your game and not finished Business?! Never do that,it could get u out of the testament" irony"..
