It's a preference thing, and there are of course people that would say the inverse of what he did.
Banana nailed it - it really does come down to personal preference. If I had to point to the main reason I lean toward ML, it's because I tend to prefer more "grounded" stories. A few pages back, I actually gave Banana a bit of critique for the first scene with Drago's mom - it felt more like something out of a porn story than erotica to me. Personally, I find that good writing can spark my imagination without needing much of a scene at all. Even something simple can work great - I realized that while playing Rhode's Fortress the other day (what a game! right up until that infamous scene...) That said, I get that not everyone values groundedness as much as I do - you can definitely see that in the reviews for a lot of games around here.Hahahaha, pretty much!
