I have doubts about "influx of mugen variants" when all of it is the same modder. Not to mention that H-Mugen is a dead horse by now: the opportunists "release" their slop, and the diehards paywall their "work". An occasional enthusiast pops up here or there, but nobody lasts for long, and since the slop slips through, anyway, all variants become "guess whether this character breaks today".

I was gonna say, it takes some real sand to put up a brand-new Patreon for your "eroge" projects when they're all the same dumb sprite sets I've been seeing posted on various X-rated video sites for maybe 6-7 years, especially when they're all based on established IP.

to the people wondering about the the flood of these mugen sprites games they are all by the same person and some of them are wuite old but they reuploaded them on itch recently due to their account having some problems half of them are just regular mugen with that are trying to have a theme(it's not consistent) and the other half is some beat em ups with mugen sprites like this one but practically everything is on the patron with itch having some very empty demos
