What you could do is have the episode be more suspenseful? Have that James overhears them at first and feels a certain way and the climax is him deciding to spy on his mom but doesn't see its's Gerrard until the next part from the next episode? Having it be a hard reveal or something, while making it mysterious and tense for most of the episode!
I calculated that based on how many routes I had in my notes and multiplied it by 4 because I think most routes will end after 4 episodes.
I might do just that.
There are 2 choices:
-Make it just like what you said. Pros: Fast Update. Cons: Average size update.
-Make a reveal in the middle of the episode. Pros: Bigger Update. Cons: Slower Update.
I feel like if you do the 2 episode structure but the first one is like i said but instead you had more to it? like James catches his mom taking nudes or asks him to help her take nudes of her new bf for the horny route, and the suspense gets more and more? It would make the update for the next episode faster, and the next episode after that even faster since the reveal and the falling out would be easier to do?
