Just the fact that the translation keeps a coherent history if you feed it enough context means that mistakes like "boob bunnies", "Why am I milk" and fucking up the male/female pronouns don't happen, plus you can have it rephrase stuff to make it sound more natural.

After going with gpt its hard to go back to Sugoi, I have been using

for free locally but its also a pain to set up since it works best with text formatted exactly right, which isn't always the case with hooked output from Luna or Textractor. Only to get something that reads 10-20% better than sugoi.

This is why for the games I really want to play I just bite the bullet and translate them with gpt. It's gotten cheap enough. This was 13$ and was my biggest project yet 6M tokens.

Even so, I appreciate what you do. I didn't think you would translate anything again after GPT banned you for Niizuma Koyomi, so it's a surprise to see that you're back doing GPT translations again.

Just make another account and make sure to have the balance always close to 0 lol. Also I'm pretty sure they have manual reviews for their ban waves, aka no getting banned in the weekends :unsure: .

No, unless someone takes the time to screencap from the game CG. From what I saw when I extracted the data, the videos were some proprietary packed Live2D files with no direct way to turn them to video.

There are usually no Discord in threads. Discord is present when a translator or developer wants to interact with the community regarding Japanese games, there is no Discord.

In the case of the Milk Factory games, they are translated 3 officially by front wing and uncensored

this one translated with mtl by SVN using sugoi offline model but it is version 6, now sugoi offline model is on version 13 and has improved a lot compared to the previous versions. This is censored just like the game in this thread that has not yet been officially translated.
