Sorry but all the harem games I have played have a garbage story and a boring edgelord mc

Look at the garbage that is WVM
Barely any story
It's just soulless sex scenes

That is why I HATE harems

Who plays these games for the sex scenes that's what pornhub is for imo

BaD is alright, but its pretty well a pseudo harem as probably about 90% of players are playing it.
I'm not playing these games to live out a fantasy I could find in real life. AVNs for me are a power fantasy and there's no better sexual power fantasy than a small army of beautiful women looking to sexually and romantically please my MC.

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good non harem games out there, but the good ones mostly mix it up with side chicks or have some crazy kink coverage so it doesn't get boring, and as a fairly vanilla dude I usually prefer the former.

Then again your response seems to be discounting personal taste, which is all I was sharing about my opinion on it with my comment there.

How was mc was found innocent after beating an unconscious guy to the death??indeed it all started as self-defense but the moment the guy was unconscious and he kept hitting him he went from defender to aggressor.
Maybe that's one of the white privilege the game keeps mentioning.

Wait she won't be romanceable? That is actually tragic.

The game is good enough so far that I can get over it (albeit bitterly), but I will say I'll be pissed if there ends up being a bunch of teasing shots/alluding to it only for it to never happen. Not exactly worried about that happening here, but I dropped a different game in the past because it kept doing exactly that.

I'm with you brother I don't like harems

but I don't mind them being in a Game if there are optional

but personally, if you're asking me why I don't like them because the MC and girls are a bunch of horny idiots

and I don't like forced relationship

and most of the time if not all of the time the relationships are based on physical attraction and not on

feelings and love

I've said this a million times but the best visual novels are just really good stories that just happen to have sex in them

and I want to make it clear that this is my personal opinion and not meant to offend anyone in any way

Three guys with baseball bats jumped him and one of them died during the fight, that's self defense. Street fights aren't like in the movies, you can kill someone with just a punch. Having a good lawyer you can win a case like that easily.

felt like mc is pretty dumb when he, depending on the law where you live i guess, sexually assualts eisley when she's sleeping on the bed (or so mc thinks) by pulling down her panties and licking her. guy was just released from jail escaping a rape sentence. at least a thought that he knows she will like it or something. but from her reaction, there didn't seem to be an understanding stuff like that was just do as you please. maybe there was. just felt like a stupid thing to do without a thought given what he's been through

There's more to it than what the flashbacks in the Episode 1 implied.

"Keeps mentioning"? It was said once. As a joke. He said "How does a kid like you end up here? You know, white privilege and shit?". A) Teenagers/Young Adults with no prior convictions usually get lighter sentences. B) Wealth in America

. When rich kids get in trouble in America, they're usually white. They have money to grease the right palms and get their charges dropped to something lower. Money talks (e.g. Alvin Kamara's case). This creates a false narrative that white people have it easier, that judges are biased, and thus have it significant easier. Hence privileged.

your comment sounds narrow and biased because you listed one of the most shallow harem games there is while there are a few that are more than a fuck fest sim. The have compelling plot and character development and are among the top games on this site.
You dont like harem games? Fine. You are welcome to that but dont strawman and expect to get away with it.
I dont like single LI games that much and I could just as easily say how a lot of them are contrived and have obvious plot holes and cutoffs that totally break immersion.
But I know that isn't all of them and just like the harem games I alluded to earlier, there are also some really good ones. Most games in general aren't going to be groundbreaking and single LI games are not exempt. it depends who is writing them. I'm just not into playing a game 8 times to see everything.
