Not to mention there are other artists that would produce animated videos much faster and they're not insufferable outside of their art.

Unironically ploxy is a lunatic. I find it really hilarious that he wants to go back to deception but that comic was like, the reason he got well known on 4chan in a very negative way that he for some reason saw as a positive thing. Like, nobody actually wants that comic unironically, the only people asking for deception are the folks from 4chan who make fun of him for it and himself who thinks it was massively successful for different reasons. It was also the reason he took on that "exaggerated face funny" thing he does in everything he makes.
Dude wanted more than anything in the world to be paid to make this tatsumaki project, to feed into his weird obsession towards tatsumaki specifically, only to demand his own paying customers to double what the leak does or else part 2 will never happen. One day this guy is gonna shoot himself in the foot and it isn't gonna heal back. At this point I'm just waiting to see whether or not he'll be his own downfall because he can only gimp himself so much before he stops bouncing back.

Unironically he talks this way because of 4chan. I've been there before deception became a big project of his and before he exaggerated facial features for laughs and he made these changes when deception started picking up steam on /vp/ on 4chan where everyone was talking shit about him and his comic. Nobody liked it and everyone made fun of the story and characters. yet for some reason he embraced this negativity as positivity. He leaned more into the humor, moved away from the porn, made the story even less serious, and then started talking like an insane person.

which has most things but not everything due to the rule changes with human characters and younger characters (either younger humans or younger furry with humans in sexual situations were banned). That said you can see how many comments they're getting and get a feel for the era like 10 some odd years ago. You really have to turn your brain off to enjoy the absurdity of it all. I should also correct myself in saying that he leaned away from porn. he absolutely didn't since a majority of the comic is porn but arguably none of it is fappable with the story involved lmao.Honestly I don't even know why he would want to revive this project. It fell off so hard and fast I'm not really sure where he would even start it back up. It never really had a direction in the first place other than to be porn, and after he got the attention he did in /vp/ it became almost exclusively about the humor and porn. It would probably be better and easier to start from new in my opinion, but knowing ploxy he'll figure out a way to make it bonkers off the walls wild shit again pretending its good writing or something.

The only reason i can think of ressurecting this comic that as you say got a lot of hate back then is to precisely piss people off as he knows it does. its reasonable? no. but judging by how much he responded to the leak, i would say it is the reason he's doing this.
genuinely hard to say, the guy is a nutcase. he just might remember that it was doing numbers back then, good or bad. He made like just under 200 pages for it or something, so it wasn't like he hated doing it. It was the main focus of his life for years. I can't imagine doing it that long out of spite but at the same time he did go on an entire personal story arc where he hated Diives for simply existing and asking people to not make porn of his OCs that he didnt want to make porn of. To which Ploxy made it his mission to make porn of Diive's ocs that he specifically didnt want porn of while trying to clout chase some beef. Wild times.
Yeah, dude was obsessed with Diives for some reason, probably because they were the more popular of the two way back when they both did pokemon more often. I actually don't recall how it started, but I do remember Diives getting hit with a cease and desist from nintendo and ploxy stopped for a while, and then wanted to go full force again once Diives came back. literally no clue, hes got screws loose so I think when people asked if Diives was gonna make porn of their mawile character they said flat out no because they don't want to lewd those characters for personal reasons. Ploxy was basically "well im gonna do it anyway, fuck you, what are you gonna do to stop me?" and diives the entire time basically ignored him so it was honestly just a one sided beef. Pretty sure diives knew it was a pointless thing from the start so it was purely ploxy alone who was trying to start shit for clout. Honestly tho the pieces were so good I wish he would just stay in his own lane and do more pokemon stuff like that. Shorter comics with reoccurring characters with more of a focus on porn and maybe a touch of story.
Sooo since OPM season 3 was aired recently did he managed to finish Tatsumaki animation or was too busy with spiting flames on everyone that tried to approach? XDD
As somebody who never gave Ploxy money and never intended to give Ploxy money, it's funny seeing him spending months (years?) on this animation nobody asked for, that nobody really cares about relative to his voted animations and then blowing up on his own supporters and blaming them for it getting leaked when all of his stuff, and every other artist's stuff, gets leaked immediately.
I get that people who make this their living are generally more likely to have meltdowns but man, what a waste. Of course nobody wants to support these people, especially not to trust them to follow-up on promises of paywalled content or other 'rewards'
I’m afraid I strongly disagree with the idea that nobody cares about the tatsumaki animation. Yes, I understand many viewers might feel a little burned out after how long it took him to complete (which shows you how lazy he is). But the leak from X still pulled in around 1.2m views, which suggests there is genuine interest.
However - you are absolutely right about the rest of your points. My main problem with ploxy is that he thinks he has a default VIP pass to just talk down to the very people that are keeping him financially stable. Obviously when an artist does that, it’s only a matter of time before some of their own supporters turn into professional freeloaders and try to watch for free. But He’s so light on the self-awareness scale that common sense is basically a foreign language to him lol.
He’s all set to stop the leakers, but when AI art hits full speed you’ll just scan his work, then BOOM! No pay, no drama, just ploxy without the stupidity lol.

Wait so has he said he’s finishing it or did he just say it’s the leakers fault and he doesn’t wanna do it anymore. Code word for i’m too lazy and lost passion.
He is finishing it and releasing it next month it's the part 2 of the animation that isn't coming out and he's doing more of that Deception comic instead.
Anyone have this? I have the 4K version without moans and the 1080p version with moans but can't find the 4K version with moans anywhere.
