Depends on the quality of the renders as well as the amount of post work that goes into them. A complex scene can take a couple of hours just to set up and a HQ render like this game has takes time to complete a render cycle (depending on your system of course... but really HD renders can take HOURS to finish cycling), post work takes a bit of time as well (and if the artist is layering a single image requires multiple renders before being composited in post). Assuming the Dev works a regular job (as almost all do) then 400 HD images in 3 months is a pretty decent pace.I don't know if that's good or not. There seems to be a pretty big range in terms of render speed for devs but that sounds slow to me.
