I like that the Game has potential. The Problem is that there are tooooo few hints.

The Love Interests contacts over Phone and u never get an Information on how the Progress is with them. For Example the Talk options are always the same. And when there is a new Option it isnt announce. So tecnicaly you must write down all the Options you used. So it´s not very fund and quiet annoying.
Also when i have made progress in the Story it is shown me in the top left corner but no hint or cluer where i have to go or what i have to doe. So i have to check every location on the map and also check again every love Interests Talk options.........
So without writing down and rollback and reload it´s simply exhausting and no fun at all.

Also the Statistics where u can level your powers is a time consuming grind.
You hae to fullfill every 3 days the conditions to get 1 Skillpoint. And the costs for 1 Talenttree doubles everytime.
I´m now at my 5th slot grinding up to 6. for the 6th slot i need 8 Skillpoints. so i have to grind 8 times the 3 day conditions.

So overall more easy access and more hints and clues where to go and what to do. Maybe mark also the answers u already chosse for the LI or remove the already chosen.
A seperate Info Button with hints would be also nice feature.

thanks for the feedback, I'm pretty much aligned actually are things to do and fix... there's the skill part then... I thought I had blocked it at the first point my idea was that for the second the third etc implemented a different type of training each time( more point for any training event) ... but evidently the block is skipped ;/ and I introduced a bug

it is not a grinding game if you have this feeling tell me I will try to edit it

are you sure? Going to class, going to gym, going to swamp, jogging the neighborhood just to get points for next level up? That's awfully grindy and the exact reason I quit playing. Kept trying to go to different locations and dates with the girls to access different content but it seemed like it was happening by chance? Is there a method to this madness because I was genuinely enjoying it except for this.

Great game! It started really well, engaging the user right away. But then the sandbox is proving to be very boring and long...
I found a bug, after a few dates with Ella I suggest to go to the lake again, but as soon as the league screen starts the game goes back to the main start menu.
I hope this is helpful.

I never understood the idea that adding freeroam/sandbox makes for a better game just because it is more challenging to develop by the dev and play by the players. In most cases it just adds grind/repetetivness and if not it hacks the story into pieces that have to be search for instead of being a curated enjoyable story.

If it's done good, sandbox could be fun, but most devs make sandbox hellish grind.

It could be fun to move around the map working and fighting crime or whatever to "earn" the content. And it looks like you can focus on the girls in whatever order you want, that's one of the good things about a sandbox. I think the issue right now is that people are grinding for nothing. There's no content yet, just a few introductory scenes. Dev should make that clear.

thanks in advance for any suggestions. ( and for any bug reporting)
I really like this game, lots of good characters and hot girls, which is par for the course for a Space Samurai game. Sandbox is fairly grindy, and it took me awhile to figure out what the KI/MD/ST bar kind of meant and how to increase them. A page detailing the UI would be very helpful, as well as something for the skills tree that consume the evolution points.

Odd bug that I came across. If you take Ella to the lake enough times it dumps you back to the main screen right after MC says "We shall see...", which I think is when the menu selection comes up . I'm not sure if there is a variable for that, the one I saw in the variable dump that looked like it might be relevant is varEllaFirstLakeDate = 2. I am attaching a save where you should be able to reproduce the issue.

EDIT:
I checked the code in lake_ella.rpy and it looks like the code is truncated in the ELSE statement when you have done the lake date twice. There is nothing after the "We shall see..." dialog ("Vedremo..." in the actual running code) so it doesn't have a jump or return so it exits to the menu.

ye gonna be real, i used to be all about the "dating sim" point & click, simulation, freeroam/sandbox style games. After playing through quite a few of them I realize I'd MUCH rather play a kinetic novel now lol. Most of them are grindy-lost simulators that tend to churn out way too many scenes in different orders based on the player which then leads to you accidentally spoiling certain things without even meaning to, because theres an expected order of events or a lack of a lockout until X point. It's also time consuming and leads you around with a dollar bill on a fishing line.

I like novels with choices (ie: Karlsson gambit where choices actually have a formula of code behind them to determine several values to make certain outcomes possible) but understandably they're a pain to set all the flags for and all the different scenes, branching paths etc but we dont see many of those, lately its been alot of sandbox/point and clicks and they've just been rough in the grind aspect :/ Also you just get to the point where you make the dev tell you every single step from that point on. Another example, I love A House in the Rift, but if it was a kinetic novel it wouldnt have really changed much for me, because i just follow everything the journal tells me anyway :KEK:

This game has a lot of potential. The beginning was very engaging as some have said, but sandbox aspects of games actually hurt them in games like this, I feel. I've played a lot of amazing narrative games here, and the ones I don't come back to as much are the sandbox ones. I think if you play to your strong suit and just go full in on the narrative experience you would make a lot of fans. I'd be one of them too.

The games that always get me hooked don't make me have to look around for things to do. Good luck creator.

I knew on the tags sandbox was coming, but many games work well with it. And unfortunately, not in this case, it almost feels like two different games. The first half you get a really good story and development, along with choices to engage with interesting characters. Then you get smacked with an annoying sandbox ui, with no explanation on functionality, no hints or help to really figure out whats going on, and it's grindy. It sucked the soul out of everything you experienced, and the bugs didn't help either, and it seems like updates are going to be mostly fixes to a buggy system and very little progression like other buggy sandboxes. Hopefully I'm wrong, will stick with it for a few updates and see, good luck dev.

Game is very enjoyable. Yes we needed a “VN” with superpower MC and world setting. So I absolutely appreciate dev for introducing it.

However the grind introduced into the sandbox implementation is just criminal. I mean asking 8 - 16 - 32 evolution points shamelessly is like asking people to waste their time unnecessarily instead of just moving forward.
Even with a skip time implementation it's too much redundancy killing the enthusiasm.
Reducing the amount to a maximum of 10 - 12 evolution points is what I would suggest.

Also implementing a CHEAT would be a good option for avoiding / bypassing the grind, if providing hints for every little scene seems too much work to do.

Secondly some unique scenes are happening randomly during sandbox grind. As several people have suggested before me, please provide some hints or objective menu to unlock these scenarios for gallery and with girlfriends.

I'm still grinding hopefully I could unlock all available scenes / image / replay gallery.

Here are some variables that I found useful that you can set in the console to bypass the grind:

varMindPoint = 3
varKiPoint = 3
varForcePoint = 3
Set these values to 3 to get Rebecca to add an Evolution point; not needed with the value below unless you are like me and like visiting Rebecca :love: .

varMoney (money for dates, you can be the Elon Musk of this world)
varReputation (for the leaderboard rankings)
varEvolution (to open a slot in the statistics page)

I don't know if there are any game triggers in the code that when you get to a particular level that an event happens. I have a hard time reading the code since its in Italian for the UI prompts and dialog, but after playing through I investigated the images folder and don't think I missed anything by bumping up the tiers. MC seems to be maxed out at 500 reputation points so going above that is not advisable as it could cause some weirdness if later on that becomes a factor.
