Yeah, I perfectly understand that Alternative changed tone of the game, it's not just a dating sim anymore. But still, H-scenes there quite important. What about the development of relationships between the characters, is it not important anymore? I think that this is a natural development of the relationship between two people and at the same time a logical culmination.
All I wanted was for them to release 18+ version of Altered Fable, especially after that sadistic mind-fucking game like Alternative.

Like sure, the 'reward' you get once you reach the ostensible 'goal' of completing one of the heroines' routes is a sex scene or two. But, can you really call a scene that take 10 minutes to read at the tail end of a 10 hour route 'important' to the route? A scene that you could easily cut with a fade to black and not alter the story in any way?

Just take a look at any of the games on the front page of this site. Those are the kinds of games where the 'h-scenes are quite important', okay? Like if such an obvious contrast didn't exsist people wouldn't say anything but there is a clear difference between a 40 hour VN that happens to have one or two h-scenes at the end, and, you know, actual overt porn games where the h-scenes are the only content. In a VN the h-scenes are kind of not the point at all and most VNs wouldn't suffer without them.

Altered Fable without the sex is kinda weird, because it even put in the beach setting with all the heroines in swimsuits, and included Meiya's sister Yuuhi as a heroine too. Oh well, wait for the adult patch I guess lol

Yes, the person you just quoted provided you an argument you didn't answer to. Those "10 minutes" is the culmination of your relationship with the heroine you've chosen. Sex is pretty much the most important thing in a relationship, that's pretty much why 99% of humanity entertains the idea of a romantic relationship.

Which is why he's right that everyone here talking about how "sex isn't important in muv luv" is just weird. All games had the hentai part. It's fine to like it without, that doesn't mean it's somehow "right" for there to not be any, like it's the "true way".

The only problem is, why did the author include these scenes in the first place if the game was not sold at the expense of sex? It turns out that such scenes were introduced into the game for a reason is it not? Cus all these games that I listed are not Nukige, then why do they need sex scenes in the first place? Only "Before the shimmering time ends" from Altered Fable and it have some h-scenes but photonmelodies ver is the port of it on ps3 so it have many censored scene and no h-scene.
