Yes, things have been reworked and this has an ending to Season 1, the beta didn't have an ending. It also has all the extra premium content, and DLC as well. This is the "full" Season 1 release as well, previous was only the BETA, this release also is not available on Patreon until later this week.

We’re not here to pitch features right now. You already know what’s coming a full revamp of many features + the first 3 chapters + the ending of Season 1. This is it. A full replay from the beginning isn’t just recommended, it’s the only way forward now.

Let's hope now he's starting season 2, the Dev gets away from his obsession of revising earlier parts of the game in every update? I just stopped playing a few updates back, because I got fed up with having to restart the game.

It's the same ending on all three routes, the only difference is how you get there.
