Yeah, but reworking is just working backwards, in my opinion, so I can't get excited for it.

A lot (most?) of the corruption games follow a pattern of good updates then stall by introducing side characters, repeating old content, language translation etc.

But corruption games need progression. As a previously paying customer, I do not care about optimization just the original planned content.

Also, breaking saves wipes out all of the time I spent playing and most of my interest in this game.

In my opinion, if you can't make a release that prioritizes new planned content then spread the side quest shit over the next few releases.

Well reworking old stuff is coming to an end, not sure if we are even gonna get any reworks after this episode, either way 1 more update for this season and then we are moving to season 2 which i assume is gonna be its own separate game. And given that they have much better financial support now than they did at the start they can start season 2 off with a banger with great renders and animations, which removes the requirement for them to go back and fix it all later.

Nice and all that, but when will the dev/s of this game finally make saves compatible, because i've read saves are nuked yet again and this is probably 5th time (or more) since the development of this game started?! Sure they're adding new things, scenes previously not released, change code, etc, but if other devs that are working with same engine, at least same complexity of the interface and can make saves compatible with previous releases that are stretching for years, what's stopping these devs to do the same?

This is probably one of the rare games i've put up with nuked saves and played from the beginning with every release, but with every update i'm loosing my patience with that ctrl spamming for mostly the same scenes and it will get longer every time with every new update pilled up. Some other devs solved this issue by providing saves, but i understand it might get complicated with subpaths and choices within every main path. When are save finally going to be compatible for this game? Because i thought this issue would be finally over by introducing phone mechanics yet here we go again.
