A little confused here. Starting Season Two, you are asked to choose between 3 versions of the game. Heh? Wth is this? Which one are you supposed to choose?
Also, it's like 10 min in before you can set Sue to be Mom. This stuff should be set right off the bat.
congratulations! you've complained about absolute non-issues!
the three version choices are there for players to start the game from the level of a given update. say, if they wanted to play the most recent updates only, or from the one before. not everyone wants to start from the beginning of the season, if they're just returning without a previous-version save on their machine.
typing in your relation to the 'landlady' when relevant lines are presented.. well who gives a fuck when you type that in, ultimately.
all choices from the previous season are asked this way, which actually gives new players, and returning players who don't recall all their choices, a much more informed set up for their them, because there's relative dialogue and context leading up to that choice, instead of just going down a list of choices at the start. it certainly gave me some pause to think if I wanted to change things to better fit my ideals of the story. a set of choices in the start would've been more like a chore and without adequate context. i.e. something mundane you're forced to click your way through, which can be a problem for new players and those returning to the game and who don't recall their previous choices or what path they were on.
I wonder if you're the kind of creature who thinks a tree will grow from your stomach if you eat sesame seeds. the kind of person who twists a bottlecap the wrong way when trying to open it, and then gets angry at the bottle for not opening. of perhaps the kind of person who still drops their pants down to their ankles when taking a piss, or holds their ears when lying because momma told you your ears wiggle when you lie...
Finished S1 and the one step forward five steps back was killing my brain. I was expecting a corruption game where the mc slowly corrupts and transforms the women around him, but that is not what I got. I hope Sue gets help with her gooner disease.
I recall it being revealed/told fairly early on that the mother has amnesia, and the whole 1st season centers around her not remembering how much of a slut she used to be, but being slowly reminded of the fact as she slowly transitions back to her old self whilst being conflicted about it.
the MC even remarks how he thought he was corrupting her, when in fact he was just unwittingly driving her in bringing back her old self.
so it's not a typical corruption game in that sense.
yes, her reluctance and post-sex remorse are annoying and confusing, because they're supposed to be. I think her mental swings were quite well reasoned and explained, and the writer has to make the player feel the frustation and confusion of the MC somehow. but here, while it is pushing the limits, it's not overdone.
by the way, there's an actual recognized condition for what she's suffering from:
post-coital dysphoria, which can manifest repeatedly due to past mental trauma, for example. and shame, for that matter. (not to be confused with post-nut clarity)
your described expectations seem kind of odd, because the game's description says nothing about corrupting anyone else than the mom. much less about turning anyone else into a bimbo.
