So what all was censored/changed in Steam version 1.0 compared to non-steam Beta version 10.1? Generally speaking, most, if not all developers tend to cut down/change/censor content before releasing their AVN's commercially on Steam - just curious what this one has done (if anything)?

If you had saves from before you to need to make sure you deleted the entire save folder in the app data directory. That is something on your end as no one else has reported anything like that.

You've got it wrong, Steam is less Draconian than Patreon, Steam is fine with incest, rape, blackmail, and so on. There is NOTHING censored in the Steam version, the same goes for most games, in fact most games on Steam get incest by default or the patch added with it. People need get this preconceived notion out of their heads that Steam somehow is a censored version.

Steam ONLY cares about underage looking characters/content, high school (which goes back to underage), sex in said school (except in rare cases) and content that is copyrighted, like say someone using movie posters (Timestamps) or movies playing on a TV in the background that they don't have the rights to.

Direct quote from the dev on Patreon, the only difference is that the Steam version is missing some dumb mini-easter-egg hunt. Steam version is fully unlocked to, no codes or nothing needed and has all the premium content with it to.

I don't know if I can name names, but two famous developers have done this, i.e. rewritten all the dialog in the game, removing any mention of incest. Excuse my ignorance, but I don't understand this.

Very few do that, out of the 30-40 I've bought in the last year or two almost all are uncensored or slightly different the Patreon version, mostly adding premium features.

The ones who do that don't read Steam TOS very well, or look at other developers. People think Steam cares about it but they don't.

I see, one of the developers who changed everything was ICSTOR in Milf City, they even had to make a mod to restore incest content. Thanks for the explanation

That wasn't because of Steam though, that was removed on the Patreon version long before. Incest is still in the Steam version; you always had to use a patch.

He changed the game's source code, that incest patch no longer works on the current version of Steam (even some scenes were removed according to some comments I read). They made a content restoration mod but it is still incomplete. But as you mentioned, maybe he didn't read the Steam guidelines properly.
