Sounds like BS to me.

Them's the breaks for a reactive game that's trying to cater to quite extreme differences in tastes. Think of it as more of a buffet, some people want to be NTRed on occasion or by specific characters - it's a real "Choose your own adventure" lol.

The alternative is a more streamlined experience to prevent you "slipping up" (which they've received vocal push back against).

I don't see why it would if the one before didn't. Can't say I'm waiting to buy it on steam. I did a speed run of the steam download don't recall needing a patch but can't say for sure

Story & Choices
After Season 1 launched, we took a hard look at how choices worked. A lot of players felt boxed in by the three-route system—and they weren’t wrong.

So we’re changing things up.
Season 2 won’t lock you into a route. Your key choices from Season 1 (like Theo and Megan’s relationship, or Scarlet’s side hustle) will carry over. But after that, the game becomes more reactive.

You’ll make decisions moment-to-moment. Harem players can steer toward keeping girls close. Pimp players will push for control while sharing the girls dominantly. NTR will happen if you mess up or ignore a situation. Don’t speak up, don’t support someone, and you might see things slide in that direction. It’s a consequence... and for those who enjoy NTR, don’t worry: there will be plenty of ways to slip up.

So that's the big change of the steam version of S1 compared to earlier builds that they're now throwing out for S2. Fair play, it was not a great decision so not sticking with it seems the right call, but it makes you wonder how many more changes of diretion are in the game's future.

No More Episodes
We’re moving away from the episode model. Instead, we’ll release content in rolling updates. Sometimes it’ll push the main story forward, sometimes it’ll flesh out earlier branches. This gives us more flexibility and lets us build a broader game with more variation and reactivity.

Having some updates "flesh out earlier branches" sounds good in theory, but could be a save game management nightmare.

But I suppose that's not really an issue given how often their updates are breaking saves anyway.

To me the Routes were never really the problem I understood why they had them. The problem was the choices in each route didn't really matter for the most part. They mostly just changed a bit of flavor text here and there.

My worry now is if it's all one route with "plenty of ways to slip up" then the writing when it comes to games trying to cater to NTR and Harem players almost always tends to lean towards the NTR style since it requires setup and dialogue to have things put in place to present those dangers. The Love interests being tempted, harassed, they think about the rival lover, The MC being oblivious to the things going on, The MC can't perform as good in bed comparatively, etc. And those tend to not be things people who play Harem games enjoy.

I enjoyed the Harem side of the game very much, a few dialogues got mixed in there but they corrected them in patches and it was easy to fix because it had specific routes you could follow. Wished you could have told Max to take a hike sooner then later but it was only one person at that time. And I understand that was less then a third of the game that catered to that playstyle.

But if games have shown us anything, for example just look at Dune awakening right now PvE and PvP players want different things from games and it rarely if ever works out for both sides if you try to mix them together. Same for these opposing styles of Adult games. You make 2/3rds of the audience your going for happy, the ones that like NTR, the ones that like both, but probably not the ones looking for just a Harem game.

If this is the way the Developer wants to go with the sequel and de-prioritize that side of the game then that's fine. Their game, they should develop what they really want to make.

But I'll be honest I didn't enjoy the game as much before they split it into different routes for the reason I laid out, but enjoyed it after they did since a lot of the things that happened because it had to setup the other paths were changed if you chose not to be in those routes. And if they are going back to the previous way then I may just skip season 2, which sucks given the cliffhanger ending but it is what it is.

I dont think its necessarily a bad idea to try and cater to both harem and ntr fans cause it has worked before. Infact some of more famous games pulled it off like the struggle with sin and superhuman (only 1 character but an important one). The biggest issue is the time to develop the game cause multiple routes and scenes tend to drag stuff out. I honestly enjoy both ntr and harem and i just tried the game today and i say its going pretty well. I hope the dev can manage multiple routes in future aswell and if optional ntr makes some people unhappy then they need to grow up. Best wishes to the dev looking forward to more in the future.

Yeah the only choice you get for Lucia in Harem is if she gets with Sue or not. You can't opt out of being with her.

Same with Scarlet, the only thing you can change with her is if she starts posting porn or not. And the dialogue later thinks that you said yes anyways with her calling you manager and asking about when to start posting images.

Little things like this being peppered through the game is the reason I have concerns over it all being one route and being harder to code in proper branching paths of dialogue. With them struggling with single choices in a locked in route.

To be fair they have patched out some of them thankfully, like the one that Lucia was saying Sue was flirting with the MC's Friend "Theo" when she hadn't.

I don't really have anything against removing the routes I just don't have a lot of faith with the developer given the previous version of the game before it was split and the continued errors of continuity afterwards and feel the route system would benefit them since it's an ongoing struggle they are having. And making it even more difficult for them seems like a miss step at this point.

she dyed her hair blonde / changed it. I can't recall if there is any makeup changes. As far outfits I didn't pay enough attention to how she dresses when it isn't a scene where you would expect her to dress nice. It's been more focused on the incest relationship while doing small things to change her into a Bimbo. I think next Season is when there will be some real changes since the incest relationship for the most part is done with now. Just one small hurdle to get past ( he already had sex with her)

Yeah, she's changed her wardrobe up, much of that happened towards the start too - she had some loans from her friend's wardrobe, and she's been out shopping for new clothes too. One of the early story points was around her dressing more provocatively at work and reaping the benefits of that in a predominantly male environment. She also has an evening where she properly plays into the stereotype, not only dressing the part (though I'd say that was a sexy dining-out dress rather than a slutty bimbofication dress) and acting like an airhead.
