You guys always cherry pick path and choice based on your own preference and apply that reasoning and logic to a completely distinct path which entire purpose is to have her make different choice. Does the system used and the dialogue and point option need rework and clarity? You bet it does! But Why does that have to affect the path? Why do you focus so much on the weak element that switch the path instead of realising it's the path that matter. You are using the creator's weak points and small failures that they said will rework over time (or not, i'm not part of the dev team) in order to satisfy a logical series of event that end up making the character do what they do.

But it doesn't matter to you, it's just a smokescreen, you're complaining about it because it exist. You refuse to give the dev the benefit of the doubt, to see the intent behind the result and accept that yes in some route Sue has and will get fucked by someone else than Randall because that's the whole point of this VN. to have a Harem Path, a Sharing path and a Hypersexualized path (Let's not call it a slut path, What Sue does in this path is not any different than what Randall does in Harem, It's just demeaning and indicative of a world viewpoint I despise)

As I’ve said before, I don’t have an issue with Sue sleeping around.
In my main run I told her to get lost (well, not literally, but I chose dismissive options) - so she’s free to do whatever and whoever she wants.

What feels off to me is who she suddenly goes for.
Theo, of all people, makes zero sense to me - especially right after the S2 intro/prologue where he’s shown supporting Randall nonstop while Sue is gone. And the speed at which both of them jump into it feels even stranger if you played a Harem route in S1 where none of that dynamic even existed.

And yeah, Ricthequick and I were talking about weird "trigger" choices that lead to that outcome. They aren’t intuitive at all. You pick one or two lines with no obvious emotional weight, and suddenly Sue flips from "crying on the floor begging Randall not to hate her" to "screw it, I’m going to fuck his best friend tonight" (I'm exaggerating obviously).
That’s not about slut-shaming - it’s about narrative coherence.

And for the record, I am acknowledging positives of this new RP system.
The freedom to ignore characters you don’t care about is great, and you’re no longer forced into scenes you don’t want like in the S1

But right now the downside is that the RP triggers can push chars into behavior that doesn’t feel natural or earned. Sue is just the most obvious example.

You’re trying to turn this into a moral argument - "Randall fucks around so Sue can too" - which is not even what we were talking about. Nobody said "Sue can’t have sex".

My point is: writing doesn’t justify these specific characters doing this specific thing, this fast, based on these choices.

That’s a writing/mechanics issue, not a double standard. It’s about character consistency and RP system that’s currently too shallow to support the swings it creates (in my opinion at least).

All that said, I do think new mechanics will eventually get better.

Well, the same could be said about men - half the time thinking with the wrong head anyway. But if we reduce every character to basic biology, then yeah, any plot can be justified, and every char arc becomes "they were horny" .

I have a save for pure harem route and a save where i turn lucia into the perfect gf while making sue the hoe which is the opposite of what happened in the past and i call that save file "just deserts".

Yea S1 Lucia was a terrible manipulating character but in season 2 (especially after the anal scene) you can see her start to fall for the mc.

I'm honestly mildly pissed some folks didn't understand where I was coming from, but yes you explained it better and more succintly than me, so I should have done better.

Call it professional deformation, but I can't just ignore how some narratives (and gameloops) are implemented, even when I'm fully aware we are "just" talking of AVNs.

I love reading stories, I love playing games, watching movies, etc... I'm lucky enough good part of my professional career revolves around it, that said it's VERY difficult for me to identify with a protagonist (or side character) or become overly invested in the stories, a bit because I have to read a bunch of them for work, but also probably because it's one of my many limitations.

All this to say, what Alex pointed out is not the fact per se that Sue has a sex scene with Theo that rubbed me the wrong way, who cares, if it fits the narrative she could be fucking every living soul except Randall, but narratives have to pay off properly.

Likewise adding new "gameloops" to an existing narrative is always risky, for the reasons highlighted here, the narrative follows a very straightforward direction, with minor changes, the RP system is better than most, but was implemented in a way that screeches against the narrative.

And at the end, this is still just my personal opinion, if anyone else finds it good/perfect/appealing, better for them.

I couldn't stand her in S1 tho it helped she wasn't the most attractive one to me. Shes still sexually liberated for the most part but her walls are breaking down and shes slowly falling in love with the mc and its very interesting because there's one scene in particular that changes depending on her point values. If you get the normal sex scene you get the ok thanks bye type of ending but if you get the anal scene you get some extra tidbits that include more kissing and her walking away clutching her chest after shutting the door.

Also i think Sue looks WAY worse in season 2.

I haven't compared them in S2 yet but I was thinking I thought Sue looked better in S1. That's where my comment of saying Lucia and Sue about equal in looks after the changes come from. I'd have to compare their looks in S2 to see if I still feel the same or not. I never been super into Lucia looks even tho she is hot there was just something I liked more from Sue and Scarlett when it comes to their looks in S1 that is

Yeah that's what I chalked up to mostly the bimbofication. to me Sue looked her best when she had her old hair style and just dyed it Blonde. Tho that took a bit to like and get used to cause I love her old hair color with how she looked. Lucia I never could get into her looks over others she always looked a bit worst to me for some reason no idea why

Well, if you both hated her character wise and didn’t find her attractive in S1, I doubt S2 is going to give you a breakthrough on your tier list . But we'll see, now I'm curious actually.
