This isn't an AAA game where a choice of hair color is an easy thing to do, due to the engine used in it. If you have 3 different choices of color, you need to render each one separately, so lets say at this point in the story dev ads a choice of 3 hair colors, from now, if the game requires 1000 renders of that hair, he will need to make 3000 renders instead. It's not feasible. What is feasible is changing the color permanently (or until another change is made further down the line): let's say u make the next 500 renders with her blonde-ish, then the story changes and u make another 500 with her platinum, etc, but she will have the same hair for everyone, not an individual choice.
