I used the WT mod and it works perfectly... I'm pretty sure you fucked up somewhere...Hmm...all the hours of play...(sigh) Well I'm not sure if the walk through mod gimped my game, but there are a lot of scenes that I don't get to see after following it until the end of the latest update. I thought this is a harem story, and using the mod would make it easier to get all the scenes available, but it seems that is not the case for me. Fuck!

The above list is what my play through has unlocked within the scene section, while using the walk through mod. And I found it odd with some of the girls had no intimacy with them at all. But I played through, and while using the 0x52_URM tool I noticed I was seeing failed requirement checks like in this image.
Now I'm not sure if this was caused by the wt mod, but so many hours of play with it seems with bad results, as I was playing to build a harem path.

Since I've not played this one I guess I'm one of the newbies mentioned, but after reading this I'm very interested in trying it out. While lewd scenes are great, I really get into stories and characters. Your review sounds like it's right up my alley so thank you for that.

Kinda piggybacking off of the quote but if you read my recent review on game, it's very similar experience. I gave up on the game first way around because I thought it was just going to be run of the mill HS game with goal of just getting to lewds. But after reading the reviews again, I went through again and oh boy did it hit hard. Without spoiling much, DONT give up until after ep 5 (something about Emma or angel episode) which gives background on Emma and MC. The plot just goes up from there and if you play Emma ending it's just so satisfying. I definitely got teary-eyed not just with this ending but if you pursue other characters like Sky, Gwen, or Aine they also have very touching relationship with MC which we get to witness. The developer did an awesome job with storytelling and really letting us relive what the MC went through in past with the characters. Hope you enjoy it

I gotta say, I really appreciate the dev's humor. There were so many times I found myself laughing out of nowhere, especially Shu, that poor dude, but he just tickles my funny bone. The later scenes with Klara as well, just outstanding. Can't wait for the rest of this one!

Not in MBML or Sicae at least, since all LIs have already been revealed.
Playing either first is fine. But Sicae is set 2 years prior to MBML and MBML contains some things from Sicae, which some considers spoilers.

It doesn't have that content, though one certain girl was particularly very cruel to the protagonist back in HS. It wrecked badly the poor guy and he briefly considered taking vengeance sometime later before deciding it wasn't worth the effort. As for what happens later, then you'll have to play this one to find out more. It's a very good one (It's got some real tear jerker scenes also, so it's best advised to have tissues around when that happens).
