Usually there's some cash laying around you could click that gets you started, but nothing to be found. So how do you earn cash to do anything in this new version, can't even use console commands to give yourself cash?

What is this you are referring to? I figured out how to get the free webcam, started earning cash. Used the $500 to play roulette and actually won 3 times without doing the save/load hack, just won a 4th time and it accused me of fraud.
