Sigh, still buggy. Lida asked me if i help her with getting stuff on ivan in the changing room, then i had to go ivans office, gave the sd card to ivan, had the thing with katya there, got knocked out, ivan told me to get more stuff on lida but she's never in the master bedroom in the afternoon. Does anyone have a savegame from right after that point?

It's the same issue i had in the last version of the game. No more tasks and Lida is not in the master bedroom.

I have no idea, as I've said many times, this game is buggy asf, just like the first game, even a non-beta version is buggy asf.

Who told you it was the afternoon? It's only in the Evening. You click to enter it shows an empty bedroom, you click in the empty room and after a couple seconds it starts a scene with her in the shower?

(For My Cute Roommate 2 v16.10260 Extra)

11/08/25 -Realized I missed changing the hints.
11/06/25 - Updated to fix a few small bugs.

- This is a pure dialogue patch/label hijack mod. No file replacement required. To install, simply save the file in the "game" subfolder of "MCR2-16.10260extra"

- Alters dialogue and tweaks the plot as necessary so that the MC is now staying with his Aunt, Uncle, and Cousins in Russia, instead of an unrelated host family.
- Anya/Olya are now both Lida's bio daughters.
- Adds taboo references throughout.
- Makes Tina's relationship as the MC's mom more explicit in the opening scenes that danced around it. Also renames her to Mom in game dialogue and on the phone entry stuff.
- References to "Lust and Life" characters/events altered to match the fan taboo mod version of that game's plot.
- Various English corrections, fixes for wrong person saying lines (or saying things that should be thought only), missing image corrections (when possible without modifying core files), etc.
- Enables the "+" money cheat to add $100 without needing dev mode turned on. (Money has to be over $0 to show up)
- Adds the option to rename the MC at the start of the game (For some reason the Dev gave the ability to rename him via the phone, but it only worked on the phone? While this mod now works everywhere except for the fight card game related stuff, I couldn't change it there easy without altering files.) Note that the MC was called Derek when he was a side character in the original "My Cute Roommate/Cousin". So if continuity is important to you, then don't enter a new name when prompted.
(Also note that is you DO rename the MC then his last name instead becomes Derek because of certain images that I couldn't change)


As always with my stuff feedback is appreciated, let me know if you encounter any issues in case I broke/missed something or there is anything that could be improved.

has anyone been able to solve the "You are tired, it's time to rest. Try to get good night's sleep" bullshit bug? it happens with or without the walkthrough mod installed.

Sorry, my bad, should have been clearer. Morning, Day, Evening, Night. I meant Afternoon as Evening.

So aside from it being Evening the only conditions are for two quests to be active:
  1. "more_video" is activated when you go to Ivan's office and get knocked out, you wake up have the conversation and he tells you that he needs another video. (This quest is completed during the shower scene) Since you are getting the text it has to be active.
  2. "make_ivan_video" is activated when you go to jail and talk to Said who tells you that Ivan is doing stuff with Gulya. (This quest never gets marked as completed at least in the current version so there's no way to close it prematurely)

If you saw that scene with Said, were you working with a save from a previous version when you saw that scene, maybe a variable changed between versions or the store method? If you did then you may need to try loading a save before that point, or enable the dev console and force the quest to be active by trying the following commands (copy paste each and hit enter).

In my tasks, I have 'you have unread messages in your phone' and the phone icon shows 3 notifications, but nothing happens when I open all contacts in messages. I went through Ivan's office scene and nothing after that. Is this a bug or is it just the end of this part till the next update?

i might not have done some things in my previous run (like MC's own cam show i'm sure i haven't), so that may have locked me out.

So yeah that would do it... To trigger the threesome which is what that " Try to get good night's sleep" is about you need to have
1) Completed the second cam show with Olya where she sucked your dick.
2) Completed the scene with Anya where you fix her router and fuck her.

So if you never did a cam show, then you couldn't have gotten the Olya scene and the threesome scene would remain locked...
