Playing the wrong game then. Just simply not what the game's about. So, out of curiosity, how much content is there so far for players not interested in their MC being sissified at all? MC sissifying other characters I'm cool with, but I'm mostly wondering if there's actually that much content in (any of the) the route(s) where the MC stays fully as a man.
Alright, I was under the impression from trying to search through the thread that there was a route where you have the MC sissify someone else, and had briefly looked at the "walkthrough" (or what is available of one at least) and it seemed like the "enslaving Noah" route might be a "male MC on sissified other character", but if that's not the case then I'll just pass on this game for good then.Playing the wrong game then. I think there's a path where you have the MC sissify someone else, but I think it's in conjunction with the MC being sissified as well. I'm not 100% sure on the details though, since that path never really interested me.
In case you don't know that is Sasha Grey. Also in case you wanted moreAnother visit only to see title gif
"i have 0 experience with game development" is probably why you think this wayI finished was what done in the master path, seeing as this has been a 4 year long project, I've got to say that I feel like I could have done what the dev did in a grand total of 1 week and I have 0 experience with game development. If this is what I get on my first day being the result for 4 years worth of content, then this is extremely shit
This is like reddit. The vast majority of fappers don't know or understand development or proper process or planning for it. They're just mad the content slows down. I don't think you're gonna be able to effectively educate them without getting them to start a game themselves, so they see the problem firsthand.im not defending the developer for taking their time, as i dont know them or their circumstances, but i am asking you to not sound like a supreme court justice on the topic of cloud computing (iykyk)
Fair enough, I probably wouldn't be able to get the variables correct at the very least, I just finished the master path, saw few bugs, didn't interact with any of the game systems other than money, and didn't account for the fact that the game had branching paths (mind you I just picked the master path which was the only actual decision in the game for me"i have 0 experience with game development" is probably why you think this way
there are certainly developers who just want to drag out development for as long as possible, but more often than not, the slowdown is due to poor planning
with game development, and especially this style of html game, the further is you get, the more you have to juggle
i have dabbled in the past with using sugarcube and the like, mostly to mess with existing games, and i can tell you that the way the flags and pathing is set up is *not* conducive to anything outside of a linear story with branching decisions
every scene has to be written in its entirety for every potential variable, then basically noted in or out depending on the flags that are set (ie if you have met someone there would be a $someone_met flag that lets you see additional text), which is not bad until you make the game non-linear
entirely different branches like the master or enslavement routes are actually easier in this respect, since they can follow their own progression, albeit with their own writing and flags
but as those route grow with length and complexity, so to does the amount of work increase exponentially
for example, take sleeping at night, since that is something you do throughout the entirety of the game
with every transformation that occurs that influences dreams, you have to edit the main "sleeping" scene with more text and more variables to account for it, bloating the size of the scene and making it increasingly difficult to bugfix
if you are organized and know what you are doing from the start, this can be easily mitigated as you can keep a list of variables and have them adhere to a self consistent logic, but fail to keep organized, or add things as you go, and this can very quickly pile up, doubly so if you want to avoid breaking old saves
im not defending the developer for taking their time, as i dont know them or their circumstances, but i am asking you to not sound like a supreme court justice on the topic of cloud computing (iykyk)
I wasn't mad that the content slowed down. I played through the game, found little there and then saw that it took 4 years to get to little substance for my particular playthrough. This was my first experience with the game. This is like reddit. The vast majority of fappers don't know or understand development or proper process or planning for it. They're just mad the content slows down. I don't think you're gonna be able to effectively educate them without getting them to start a game themselves, so they see the problem firsthand.
I'd also argue scope creep is a bigger problem. They see ways to include additional requests to get more support without understanding the actual scope increase down the road. This leads to developers biting off far more than they can chew. I'm not saying this developer did or did not do that, but that it's something I see happen literally all the time.
Some of these projects people are trying to solo would be difficult with a dedicated project manager and 10 man team.
Sounds like you should be making a game.I finished was what done in the master path, seeing as this has been a 4 year long project, I've got to say that I feel like I could have done what the dev did in a grand total of 1 week and I have 0 experience with game development. Almost as if there's multiple routes to develop other than your particular playthrough. Not like the dev can divide like a cell and work on multiple routes at the same level of output simultaneously. Being a solo dev means that your time and attention are extremely limited. Couple that with being a solo dev, having to deal with motivation, and IRL issues. A small team can (usually) pick up the slack, but without that, it's kind of no wonder there's such a huge graveyard of unfinished HTML games.it took 4 years to get to little substance for my particular playthrough.
If you follow the enslave Noah route you don't get sissified at all. You actually become more masculine. But that route doesn't have nearly as much content as the other routesAlright, I was under the impression from trying to search through the thread that there was a route where you have the MC sissify someone else, and had briefly looked at the "walkthrough" (or what is available of one at least) and it seemed like the "enslaving Noah" route might be a "male MC on sissified other character", but if that's not the case then I'll just pass on this game for good then.
Damn Sasha Grey booty making it stand out every time it pops up on the latest updates page finally leading me to give in and investigate further. Definitely disappointed, I enjoy these HTML Real porn games, and I can enjoy some sissification of other characters, but not of my MC. Too bad.
bit late on the reply sorry,Is there a new changelog though?
